SmokeyPie 8 June 3, 2014 Share June 3, 2014 (edited) Ok guys. I'm just a normal brony from sweden. And i have gotten into singing But there's one problem. I have a really bad mic. ( It's a mic from like 1999 xD ) Can someone tip me about a good mic? I can pay up to 200$ If needed ( Try to find something cheaper if possible ) But yeah. Thanks if you find something -SmokeyPie Edited June 3, 2014 by SmokeyPie
Virgil 685 June 3, 2014 Share June 3, 2014 Well, if your on a budget a good beginner mic (at least for Voice Acting ) is a "Blue Yeti" which is a USB mic btw, cost about $100 for the mic itself. But you can buy a stand for it for about $20. I think the next step up would be a "Shure PG42" USB mic but it is $250 and you need to get a mic stand, which adds another $20. I'm getting my recommendations from this http://www.voiceactingmastery.com/toolbox I use the Blue Yeti myself (although I also use a "pop filter" ) , so if you want to hear what it sounds like I know there's a place you walkedWhere love falls from the treesMy heart is like a broken cupI only feel right on my knees.I spit out like a sewer holeYet still receive your kissHow can I measure up to anyone nowAfter such a love as this? GenderIsAnIllusion 2,177 June 3, 2014 Share June 3, 2014 You can make a decent quality mic out of a soda bottle, masking tape and construction, paper. My peep is against bullying....
