Once, in the Everfree Forest, there lived a group of ponies in a place called Sunny Town. However, they were cursed by their own magic. In fear of getting the curse, they decided to forever zombify themselves, and they became horrid renditions of their former selves.

Now, it is time for them to move across Equestria, and allow for them all to protect everypony...

 

Sky Chaser swooped down onto the ground outside ponyville, near the enternace of the everfree forest. He smiled and ran over to see his friend, and he ran over, "Hey!"

"Hey Sky, its been forever since I've seen you!!" Aeron said happily, as Sky Chaser landed nearby and ran over to him. They both decided to go back to Aeron's house nearby to catch up with each other. They arrived at Aerons house after about five minutes "Make yourself at home SKy, would you like something to drink?" Aeron asked as he walked into the kitchen.

The pegasus smiled to him and he folded his wings to his sides. He looked at him as they walked into his house and smiled, "Just a bit of water would be nice!" He sat down by his chair and smiled. He turned to stare at how he was moving, and a thought occured to him, "Are you feeling okay?"

"I'm ok," Aeron replied, pouring Sky a glass of water "why do you ask?" Aeron returned from the kitchen and put the water on the table next to his friend. Sitting across from Sky he smiled and asked "So what have you been up to? Its been forever since I've seen you!"

Sky laughed, "Cloud kicking, the usual!" He took the glass of water he was given and slowly drank it, "So what about you? I mean, I know that the life in Ponyville has been busy, but has it been so busy you haven't been able to reply to my letters?" He suddenly laughed and smiled, "I'm kidding! What's been going on?"

"Well not much has been going on, just working at Theater and working on some new music," Aeron replied "other than that not much" He sighed as he finished his sentence then looked out the window, and noticed something strange outside. Walking over to the window, he opened it and saw that strangely enough the usually bustling streets were bare as ever. "Hmmm, whats going on out there?"

He turned towards the window and saw al ittle filly running around: Applebloom. He blinked when she suddenly screamed and dashed into the nearest house. When he turned to the door, something was poudning on it, "What could that be...it's the middle of the night!"

Aeron jumped a little and slowly approached the door "Who is it..." he nervously said, his head inches from the door. There was no reply for a second or two then the pounding resumed, making Aeron jump back. He decided to open the door just a little to see who it was, and as he opened the door he saw a dark grey pony standing there, his head butting against the door. "Umm...hello? What do you need?" Aeron asked nervously. In reply the pony groaned and looked at him. Aeron Slammed the door shut and stood back a little from the door, awestruck and terrified

The pony gasped and he fell backwards, wings flapping. He screamed in terror and he looked outside, realizing the streets were full of them! With an exaggerated gasp again, he slammed the window shut, "what in Celestial name is that ugly creature?!?" He looked at his friend.

"I have no clue!" Aeron said, turning to go check all the other windows in the house "Whats even going on? This morning everything was fine, and then this happens!" He walked back into the room, looking like he had just seen a ghost. and sat down on the couch, his head in his hoofs "What do we do?" he asked, looking at Sky.

Sky blinked, then suddenly Applebloom dashed into the room, slamming the door. She turned ot them and hse looked like she'd seen a ghost. "I thougth 'hat Misty 'aid that it wouldn't 'appen gain!" She looked like she had been betrayed. She sobbed and looked down.

Sky tried to look at her, but he couldn't get it.

"Said what wouldnt happen again? And are you alright?" Aeron said, walking up to Applebloom "You look like you've seen a ghost, then again i think we all have seen something strange is going on here." Aeron sat back down on the couch followed by Applebloom. "So...anypony have any idea what in Celestia is going on?"

The filly screamed and shook in fear, her body shaking and she cowered under the table. She looked up, eyes shut, ""Hey said that 'hey wouldn't come! They're zombies! ZOMBIES!" She sobbed and screamed when the thumping came again. She closed her eyes and she covered her head in her hooves.

The pegasus turned to Aeron, "U-Uh..."

Aeron looked at Sky, a look of both confusion and shock on his face "Zombies in Ponyville?? Thats not possible." Aeron walked back to the window and jumped as one of the zomponies came out of nowhere and hit the window, causing Aeron to jump "OK!! you were right Applebloom, but what do we do about them? And what if our friends are zombies now too?"

Applebloom looked up, "I-I f-found ah village n the forest one day with Twiligh'! B-but they killed ah fille who 'ad a cutie mark! T-they are zombies! They're cursed! 'Hey want to turn 'verypony into 'hem 'cause 'hey won't ever get cutie marks!" She sobbed, "T-they got to Big Mac but the mane six already are gone! 'Hey're in Canterlot! We gotta stom 'em before they get back!" She sobbed and hid under the taqble even more.

Sky looked at her and he closed his eyes, "w-what?"

"Wait...Twilight and her friends are gone? As in turned into zombies" Aeron said, panic in his voice. "Well crud, now what? With Twilight gone theres no hope for us" Suddenly there came a loud crash from the kitchen, and suddenly the house was filled with the moans and groans of the zombie ponies. "We have to get out of here, and find somewhere safe!" Aeron said, quickly gathering supplies.

The pony gathered Applebloom in his arms and she whined, "Nah, they're not zombies! They're just...they're just gone in Canterlot!" She screamed when the house began to rumble, "We gotta go, now guys!"

Skye nodded and they all dashed into the living room. They heardteh groans only get louder.

"Crud," Aeron began as he checked the kitchen "their starting to climb in WE GOTTA GO NOW!!" He then ran to the door, threw it open, knocked the first few zombies into each other and turned back "COME ON!! WE GOTTA GO!!" He then turned and kept shoving the zombies back clearing a way for friends

Applebloom was in Sky's arms as Sky flew up into the air, and he grabbed a cloud. He pulled hte cloud over the town square and hit it, proeucing a thunder clap. IT allowed them a distraction as the zombies no longer looked at them. Smiling, he flew down to look at his friends, "Let's go! Come on!" He dashed towards the exit of Ponyville.

Aeron joined Sky and Applebloom at the exit of town, panting he said "Ok now where do we go?" Looking at Sky with a clueless expression on his face. "We could try Canterlot, but i doubt the train is running." Aeron said, looking towards the train station, and noticing that the train wasnt at the station.

Suddenly the thunderclap ahd worn off and groaning could be heard. From behidn them, the ponies slowly ambled towards them, some even walking at normal speed. Their flesh hung limply around their bones and there eyes were blood red. One stood up, and they saw it was Mayor Mare!

WE WILL PROTECT YOU! WE WILL KEEP YOU SAFE FROM THEE MARKS...FROM THE CURSE!

Sky screamed and he looked at them, "Come on! RUN!"

"OH GOD THEY CAN TALK?!?" Aeron said as he ran alongside Sky and Applebloom, heading towards Canterlot. Eventually, they had to stop and take a break. "i hope they didnt follow us, because if they are...we're leading them straight to Canterlot if its not bad there" Aeron said again as he sat against a tree breathing hard. Looking at Sky he said "But i guess we dont have a choice do we..."

Sky looked at his friend and he set Applebloom down, who'd passed out and was hanging limply from his back. He turneda nd saw that, if they had been following them, they'd fallen behind long ago. He looked at her, "Well we can't sit here forever. If we are, Luna nad Celestia will know what to do!"

Aeron stood up again, and started walking again "if they arent zombies...i sure hope nothing bad happened there". As he started walking Aeron looked back at Sky and Applebloom on his passed out , motioning for them to catch up. "Well we better hurry before dark."

Applebloom reamained in her current state. The pegasus loaded her onto his back and he cuddled her, "poor little filly, all nervous. She said she discovered them in the Everfree Forest. But what did they mean by Curse?" He shuddered, and his eyes caught his cutie mark, "You...you don't think they mean our cutie marks, do you?"
