M'aiq the Liar 5,804 July 17, 2014 Share July 17, 2014 I was in the Army for 3 years, only deployed once before my medical discharge. You'll be terrified the first couple weeks of deployment, and that is a good thing. The fear keeps you on edge, listening to your NCOs and superiors, and focused on staying alive. After this first preiod is when privates get sloppy, and then privates get killed. Fear can make you hesitate sure, but it also keeps you looking at every peice of trash on that highway, quite a few of which are IEDs. And there were a couple of MMSO routes we ran, that I damn near shat myself in. As for garrison environments, it is really just making sure you look busy. As long as it appears you are doing something, platoon sgt. will leave you alone. Depending on your MOS (or whatever the other branches call it) an active duty day consists of looking busy, and browsing the PX. (unless you are a field support MOS, or MP, for most of the field support mos's that means you work your mos like a normal day job, and as for mps you are a cop). I don't really know anything about the airforce or the corp lol, but I can offer advice on the army. http://mlpforums.com/page/roleplay-characters/_/vera-yeoman-r5921Muh pleb tier OC .http://mlpforums.com/blog/1663/entry-12477-pony-waifu-wedding-13-maiq-x-fleetfoot/ MLP forum's #1 Fleetfoot fan also married to fleetfoot <
