The doctor, despite being described as completely insane seemed completely out of it. He pulled out a clip board from under the table, "Lets see, your name is Night Sky correct?" his tone of voice gave the impression that he had done this quite a few times before.

Night Sky nodded his head, then looked around the room. What struck him the most was the sheer amount of bloodstains that were around teh tables, desk, and floor. He looked at Atmoshpre, but he coudln't even bring hismelf to look him in the eyes. He whisepred, "Yes sir, my name is Night Sky."

Doctor Atmosphere slammed a hoof down on the table, "SPEAK UP BOY!" he shouted at him, "How's a pony supposed to hear you whispering like that?! Its hard enough hearing a normal conversation in this damn factory, I will ask you one more time, what is your name?"

Night bent backwards and he looked panicked. he was about to whisper, but instead he forced hismelf to speak up. Smiling, he looked at the doctor and stammered, in a normal voice, "N-N-Night sky is my name." He then looked down, not sure if he was supposed to talk again. He didn't know what was going on at this point.

"Thats more like it" the doctor put on a strained grin, "I am Dr. Atmosphere but you can call me Hide."

he shuffled through the papers before taking out a pen, "Now lighten up" he told Night, noticing his uncertainty of the situation.

"Your just stuck in here for the rest of your miserable life thats all!" Hide chuckled to himself before breaking into a coughing fit. "Ahem" he cleared his throat, "Now what where your lower factory duties Mr. Sky?"

The pegasus pony tried his best to relax, but then he made eye contact. His blood ran cold, and instantly, his very essence felt as though his soul was being drained out into the pony, then being ripped apart. Shaking, he frantically tried to remember what it was that he was doing originally.

"I-I maintained the lower spectra mixtures a-and made sure that the liquid collated into rainbows..." he blinked, then he looked down, not even sure of what he was supposed to say.e

Hide made a small huff, "Nothing special then, almost completely worthless. Dont worry though, I'll find something for you to do" There was a short moment of silence, the red pony stared daggers at Night, "Do you know what we do up here Mr. Sky" he asked, leaning back in his chair

Night Sky actually felt a little hurt at the statement that was made, declearing him expendable. Looking at him finally, he whispered, then forced himself to speak up, "N-No Dr.Atomoshpere, I don't know what you do up here. I-I know that you...you uh...make rainbows and send it down to us to mix."

"Call me Doctor Atmosphere again and you'll be dead before the job even begins" Hide gritted his teeth together. "However you are right about one thing," he stood up and began to walk behind Night, "we do make rainbows up here, but do you know how they're made?"

Night looked at the way he was moving, and he made a wild guess he probably should do exactly as he was told, "Yes DrAtm-Hide, I know that spectra is grinded up and then sent to the lower factory but...I don't know exactly...how they're made...." Night felt that, if he made one wrong move, his head would be gone, so he tried to remain quiet.
