High Tide 5 September 18, 2014 Share September 18, 2014 Hi guys! I need a microphone to record my voice for my fan game. I was kinda stealing my brothers, but he took it with him when he went to uni. Any suggestions on some good quality cheap microphones that I could use? Many thanks!
RandomSelect 36 September 18, 2014 Share September 18, 2014 Try looking up Amazon. Have you got a voice recorder on your smartphone? Maybe that can help you. High Tide 5 September 18, 2014 Author Share September 18, 2014 I'll have a browse on Amazon, but I don't have a smartphone or a mobile capable of doing anything besides whack-a-mole i'm afraid.
Lost Profile 644 September 18, 2014 Share September 18, 2014 (edited) the mic i use is a "Blue Yeti" its a very good quality mic for only 150$ i got it at best buy just remember that a good recording space is just as important as a good mic! High Tide 5 September 19, 2014 Author Share September 19, 2014 Thanks for the advice, but I think I'll keep looking for something a tad more affordable
FoxOsprey 46 September 19, 2014 Share September 19, 2014 I use a ZALMAN ZMMIC1 at the moment available for about 6 GBP on Amazon (approx. 10 USD) at the moment; it's designed as a lapel mic but it doesn't clip very well to clothing(if you are wearing a button down it will clip to the buttons but other than that the clip is pathetic) so you may prefer to set up a rudimentary stand for it, I personally use it as a hand-held by attaching it to the blade of my pocket knife. In regards to sound it can normally pull off some good quality stuff combined with the right settings and a nice voice. So there you go; hope that helped in some way.
