Brutikong 4 October 27, 2014 Share October 27, 2014 Hello.. My name is Alex. I am a Sculptor and a Lead Character Artist at Bioware. I have recently discovered MLP, through the Shapeways/Hasbro promotion. https://www.shapeway...ttlepony?li=nav After seeing some villian designs, I thought it would be fun to sculpt a couple of characters in my own design aesthetic. I am almost done with Tirek and have a some fun ideas for the timberwolves. They will be available through the shapeways site very soon. I am entertaining the idea of keying him to be fully articulated, or perhaps having a very limited number of resin sculpts made. I would love to gauge the interest of the community for this kind of work. Some other examples of my work can be found here: http://brutecg.com/

Puddlejumper 1,649 October 28, 2014 Share October 28, 2014 At first I thought I was reading a post from my future self, seeing as my name is Alex and my dream job would be character or background artist at Bioware... Weirdness aside, I'm not much of a fan of Tirek, but that sculpt is awesome! Can't wait to see the Timberwolves though, and I do hope you have plans for a Chrysalis in your style. 1 http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i241/girsmj86/MLP/124343-animatedanimated_gifgifTrixie_zps4aa82173.gif WTB: Luna, Trixie dog tags & AJ blind bag | This fandom needs more Mane-iac! | AJ, Rarity, and Trixie trot into a bar. Silverwisp the Bard 2,354 October 29, 2014 Share October 29, 2014 Very cool, kudos. The bag is a nice nod to the original version. I would probably be interested in a sculpt. My Art Thread, updated (almost) daily Tomorrow will take us away, far from home No one will ever know our names But the bard songs will remain. Too bad it's not open source for when I finally have the money to buy me a 3D printer and print one of those suckers.. :okiedokielokie: By the way, you mentioned you're working at Bioware. Which one, Edmonton or Austin? I'm living in Edmonton. Edited October 29, 2014 by eekster
