Mobile version

When I use the mobile version at home or on holiday ect I find many troubles with it.

The chatroom doesn't show who is online and lags terribly as well as not fitting on the screen.

The button in the top right corner that shows notifications and other useful things lacks buttons

such as: viewing my profile, my status updates.

I can't comment on peoples status updates.

 

It can be hard to navigate long topics to the end of them (maybe add a button that either sends you to the back or front?)

Things like the "follow this topic?" button have about a 60% chance that they will work.

When typing this post on my ipod the cursor for typing ( | ) can go off the page its self making long lines of text spam all over the page.

 

But even though the mobile version is a minefield for even the fastest devices, it still is pretty good, suggestion:

Make an app for it?

The mobile version of the site has a limited set of the absolute most important features, because it needs to be able to run smooth and fast on a huge variety of phones and mobile networks.

 

There is a native IP.Board app currently in development. Nothing is really known about it yet, but IPS have promised several times that it will address the complaints that most people have with the mobile IPB skin.
