A wine influenced poem

The deepest descent of your heart holds the secret of true joy, an everflowing fountain of happiness locked away to someday be tapped into. Why then if our hearts hold such beauty must we look upon the world with such hatred, anger and sadness. You once told me I was beautiful, a stallion of many talents and a bright future. I felt that way once... then I lost you. My world toppled into a pit of shadowy fiends each with a grip on my pain filled heart. Everyday I dream of you, you filled my days with happiness my life with meaning. Now my memories of you bring only heartache and sadness. I feel more alone then I have ever been in my lifetime. Everyday I go on is unbearable. The desire to just dissapear is great but would it make me happy. I want to join you my love, but where you are I cannot be. Together we fit like unkempt cogs on a broken clock gears too big grinding as we pass by. What once was beautiful now was distorted battered and broken, but even so why do I miss you so, to hold you, to kiss you, to love you would be the salvation to my withered bitter heart. Please save me... please save me...

 

Think I'll have to use this for some sad story for an OC. hehe
