Difference between Dark Mist and Pinkamena

Dark Mist

 

You may think that i created Dark Mist just so i could put her into a battle situation, but you're wrong; i made her so that i could have a character who struggles in keep the darkest side of her suppressed, so not to hurt anypony else. Dark Mist is not a plot device, she is more to me than that. By her darker side, i mean Tainted Mist, who she becomes if she ever were to get angry or falter in her suppression. 

 

Dark Mist is the loving and caring side of her(the normal side), and Tainted Mist is the sadistic and insane side(Evil side). Each tries to take control, often leading to Tainted Mist getting out or Dark Mist taking back control. You could think of it as a double edged sword, while being normal has its benefits, it also has it bad points; such as harassment and being called a freak. Tainted Mist has them too, such as: her lust for fear and misery of others; but also seems to have to rely on cruel methods to get what she wants. Including punishing those who would stand in her way.

 

 

Pinkamena 

 

I can understand why people made her this way, but its interesting to see what people come up with for certain character, Pinkamena Diane Pie, the real name of Pinkie Pie; not many may know this, but what first brought this up was the creepypasta called "Cupcakes". The infamous and most popular one ever created, it never held back on the grim factor and let it all go without restraint. Also was featured in Silent Ponyville, which i enjoyed every time i listened to it. While some cringe at such things, i'm use to these and rarely am i ever forced to stop myself from continuing.
