Starboard shook the algae from her tail as she swam along the broken remains of the Calypso II. It was a very large ship with many rooms and she came here often. But she came here today for a special reason; the water just didn't feel right today. Her brother was off playing with his merpony friends so she was home alone. She wondered what could be causing such a disturbance.

Spellbind was minding her own business as she walked down the beach. She looked over at the sea. Who knows? Maybe something mysterious was going on that was well hidden.

 

But then again, that wasnt very likely to be the case. Nice as it would be, it seemed like wishful thinking.

Cuddle Cresent hummed to herself silently. She had an idea of what to do next! She decided to travel out to the seas. She's never been out there yet... Maybe she'll find some underwater city, she thinks chuckling at the thought. Well then, time for this mare to get her sea legs ready!

Starboard went to the surface to look around. She saw a strange creature. It looked like her but with legs. She was confused and went closer to get a better look. They were talking and playing just like her! She wanted to explore so she swam around the edge of the land, looking at all the interesting things.

Cuddle Cresent asked a nearby sailor how much her journey will cost. He told her it wouldn't be much, then had the nerve to ask for the rare jewel she was carrying... But she's never been one for them anyways, so she agreed. But to high ters, which he smartly accepted. As she started to sail out to sea, while she got her hoof massage, she glanced around the sea... And she swore she saw a fin out of the water, but ignored it as the hum of the magically kept motor soothed her to sleep.

Starboard flipped underwater quickly as she saw a ship come by. out of curiosity, she went over to the side of the ship and looked through the window... right at Cuddle Cresent. She ducked and hoped that she hadn't seen her, her tail lashing, she swam deeper.

Looking out far, Spellbind noticed what appeared to be a pony swimming just around the edge of the land. She glanced at the pony for a few seconds, because she was bored and her brain needed some stimulation. And then she was off again on her way minding her own business.
