Alternate Theory Of Nightmare Moon

So this is a theory based off a poem i did before the Nightmare Rarity comic arc was released, so i had no idea what the story was or would be. So this was my opinion at the time when i didn't understand the reason for Luna losing herself, but i wasn't confident enough to share it back then because i was afraid people would hate me for it. But now i want to do just that; so here it goes:

 

 

"There is a way to release ourselves. A spell to obtain our souls once more. We must speak it; but when we speak, no sound. We are all dumb. So failure is inevitable. And I regret ever entering the eternal bet with the devil inside me."

If you don't get it, then here's my official explanation:

 

Pretty much the soul of Luna speaking about how she regrets her decision with a devil character who has taken over her body. The only way to release the trapped soul of Luna is impossible to complete because she cannot speak to the ponies herself. 

 

So i take this as Luna having no control of her inner darkness, crying as she watches this darkness attack her sister; though she wishes for it to stop. But she cannot speak her own words; the only thing that comes out is words of hatred.

Now comes the theory itself and why i said it has similarities to the NMR comic arc:

 

You know the story, Luna gets jealous and her hatred builds up over time. This turns to a darkness which consumes her completely. Thus leads to her becoming NMM, but a part of Luna still resides in it; a part of her that doesn't want to hurt Celestia, but this darkness(which i refer to as the devil inside) does. You saw how much she hated being second best, and wants the night to be endless so everypony can see it(correct me if i make a mistake). But celestia knows this won't be good for the ponies of equestria, so she tries to reason with her.

 

But as i said in the poem, Luna's words to her sister are meant to be kind, but this darkness makes her say only words of hatred and jealousy. Hence why she cannot speak to the ponies herself as the Darkness has complete control of her. Inside, Luna is crying not wanting to see her sister hurt or worse.

But let me bring forth the bit about the deal:

 

Luna was jealous, but didn't hate her sister, but wanted to be appreciated; and feel noticed. But if the ponies were asleep, who would notice her work? This makes Luna turn to the darkness for help, something that could maybe get her night sky noticed; she had setup the stars to be perfect so everypony could see them. 

 

But now comes her big mistake, so she asks this darkness to grant her request; but there was one condition: She must give something in return; something that she values most.

By know we all knew what that was, herself. This is what must be given; her soul in general. With this deal, the darkness agrees and takes her for its own. So she becomes Nightmare Moon, but soon she realizes this darkness doesn't wan to help her; it was sing her for its own agenda. To be rid of Celestia and bring forth the eternal night.

As i listened to Luna's past, i couldn't make sense of it all; so i did this as a guess at what they meant. But i never really knew about the NMR arc comic after its release, it wasn't until i saw a youtube video on the comic that i decided to check it out. But after viewing it, i never put the pieces together and just thought it was a fan created comic; i didn't think hasbro would take it and make it an arc. So my theory of luna and NMM beig similar to NMR was a mere coincidence.

i just think that Luna needs to face her demons, otherwise she will become the very thing she hates.
