Hello! Well, in case of Uruguay, we have some really bad laws, but the worst is the one related with international purchases. We are really limited with them, and we also have to pay high fees for them. (60% of the product original price)

It's illegal for under 18's to purchase cigarettes, alcohol and condoms. But not illegal to use them.

Meaning an under 18 person could just get an adult to buy them that stuff, and it's legal for them to use them.

In the US, the strangest laws are laws in different states as opposed to federal laws. In my state, it's illegal to wear a bullet-proof vest while committing a murder, even though murder by itself is already illegal. It's also against the law for a man to knit during the fishing season, and to frown at a police officer. This is also one of the only two states where a driver isn't allowed to pump his/her own gas.

Where I live, the law is 21 for alcohol, and I'm pretty sure it's illegal to use alcohol if you're under 21. I know the law about cigarettes where you live is pretty much the same as where I live, but in some states(like mine) it's 19. I think where I live you can purchase condoms even if you're under 18, the cashier would probably just give you a weird look if you bought them and were under 18.

I once heard that it's illegal to wear a bulletproof vest while committing a murder/crime in New Jersey. Yeah, I'm happy I don't live there.

If you want to see more crazy laws in New Jersey, look at my previous post, since that's the state I live in.

In Canada, It is illegal to drag a dead horse down Yonge street on Sunday. Being someone who lives next to that street, I've always wanted to do that on a Monday and see what the cops say.

Oh, and it's illegal to set fire to a mans wooden leg in Alberta.

I love laws like that because they only exist because people have already done them xD

I saw a really weird law in Illinois that states that you can drink underaged as long as you are a student in culinary school. Lol

Twerking and generally just being rude to war memorials is illegal here. I dont know of any particular law that say so, but I have heard a few times people got arrested and/or fined for doing something rude to memorials.
