How did you get into the Canterlot Dungeon?

Our mother-like mentor princess Luna let us decide where we shall stay in the canterlot castle. We decided a dungeon isn't anywhere anypony would find us. So we decided to add adjustments to our new home and have been happily living there for months!

Hey everypony! My name is Princess Nidra, this is my OC's story!

 

Not long ago a grey pegasis with hazel eyes, brown mane and tail with red and blue streaks, traveled to equestrian from a place unknown to all pony kind. One night, she cried alone on a patch of cloud. She asked herself, "where do I belong?" then with a flash of light two majestic and magical ponies with faces oh, so familiar appeared right before her eyes. They were the two alicorn sisters. The eldest one said, "Hello there what's your name young filly?" The pegasis replied "A-A-Alaira?" The two princesses exchanged a look, smiled and said, "does it mean anything?" The pegasis shook her head and said, "my family thought it was unique, that's all."

 

The younger alicorn flew next to her and said, "where is your family?" the young mare just looked to the stars and said, "far away from our world."

 

The two princesses took in the young mare, she longed to have magic of her own like a unicorn and one day she searched the ancient archives of the alicorn kingdom, a place nopony of equestrian has been in over 4000 years! She found a spell book, and even though she bared wings and no horn, she studied the book with open eyes, heart, and wonder.

 

Princess Luna watched over the young mare with care. She took her as a daughter like celestia did moonlight ( https://mlpforums.co...cess-moonlight/ ).

 

One night Luna entered Alaira's dungeon room, and asked "What is your name?" The young mare tilted her head. "Luna you already know my name, it's Alaira remember?" "No, what is your name? If you had the option of choosing your name what shall it be?" "Nidra, my name would be Nidra..."

 

Luna's horn glew as bright as a star in darkness! Then when the mare opened her eyes, she and luna were in a magical place known as the celestial plane. It was beautiful, she galloped and fluttered her wings on the starry ground of the magical scenery.

 

"Luna why did you bring me here?" The alicorn presented her with the sacred book she recovered from the lost alicorn kingdom. "This book was once a book that only could be read by a sacred alicorn, somehow you were able to read it and this proves something," the pegasis just tilted her head and asked "what does it prove? Also who was the sacred alicorn?"

 

Princess luna opened the book and showed her what appeared to be nightmare moon but with golden eyes, and different armor. "This alicorn had the name Nidriucus, a similar name as to that you chose. She ruled the land long before celestia and I were born. This book, proves that you are her successor.. and mine as well."

 

With this she teleported the book back to equestrian and asked, "Shall you accept the destiny I could help you achieve, and the one you were given by the ancients?" The pegasis nodded chest out and wings spread. She showed she was proud and unafraid. With a flash of blue and white light. Change was happening, change for the future, change for equestrian had begun.

 

When The young mare opened her eyes. She was on a balcony in canterlot... "Luna?" she asked feeling very abandoned seeing as she was at a very weak state. "I'm here Nidra," "Nidra? Why did you call me that? I thought it was just a test?" "It is who you are, you are Nidra, just as you shall be the Nidriucus, of equestria."

 

Nidra looked at a mirror to see that she had become a bat pony, her once hazel eyes glew a brilliant yellow, her once brown red and blue hair had turned into a soft shade of moon blue. Sitting upon her head was a horn. When she powered it, it blazed all the colors of fire. "Thank you Luna!" she cried embracing her mother-like mentor.

 

"You are not a princess of equestria, and seeing as now you're an alicorn. You must stay hidden from the public. Do you understand Nidra?" "Yes Princess"

 

That night a pegasis became an oracle, that night, I became Nidra!

Well our royal sunject we lose our "royal we" mostly because We usually don't speak to other ponies very often and when we do we are always  trying our best to be the proper princess we should so therefore we use our royal we.

We see Princess Luna as an equal but every now and then she is all of those things. Sometimes to us she is a mentor, a sister, a mother, and a best friend!

Truth be told, we do still appreciate being known as Alaira however Celestia Luna and the doctor all refer to us as Nidra

 

We are from other worlds, we travel to other universes to protect them, however recently unknown be all of you we gave into the darkness and transformed into nightmaremoon. Alas our cousin Princess Moonlight and the doctor was able to free us from the shadow of evil. Now we are living happily in the dungeon once more!
