Is "Jack Black" using ironic humor, or is he somewhat serious

I will assume he might be somewhat. But i can tell he seems to be joking.

 

Like when he says "Piracy" and then later on "Is that what you want John Long Silver"

I am just wondering if you think he was 100% serious in general with this vid, or if he was kinda joking around with it.

I feel like Jack is the type of person to actually not be fully against piracy. I know of musicians that are not against it, since it can be free publicity, but whether or not that is effective is a topic for another day. I would say this video is a mixture of both, but I can see Jack being the type to not be against piracy completely.
