It was 10pm on a Tuesday evening and Hooligan was standing outside the local 7 Eleven store for his best, and only, friend Cipher Bolt. Like always Hooligan didn't have s plan for the evening, but he and Cipher were gonna have fun regardless. It had always been that way, ever since he met Cipher when he was a small foal. Hooligan reached into his bag and pulled oitba purple mask that had a huge smile but no eyes. He was excited to show it to Cipher. Hooligan smiled and continued to wait for Cipher.

Bolt trotted out with a bag of what looked like sweets. "Just wanted to get some candy. I'm doing an experiment on them." She grinned at Hooligan. She laid down the bag on the ground and looked into Hooligan's eyes. "Wanna do some...you know...tonight?" She smiled mischievously.

"There's nothing I'd rather do," said Hooligan returning Cipher's mischievous smile, "I was think we could do it at the school. I bet it's been ages since that place saw a laugh. But first I've got a surprise to show you, " Hooligan said as he his his mask behind his back, "but if you wannavsee it you have to close your eyes."

Bolt excitedly closed her eyes. "I think you're forgetting that I can see all," she said. "I can see what's behind your back." She suddenly opened her eyes and playfully tackled Hooligan to the ground. She grabbed the mask from his reach. "A mask! Cool!" She put it on backwards. "Uh....I can't see anything..."she said, confused.

"That's cause it's on backwards ya goof," said Hooligan with a smile as he took the mask off Cipher, "if you had waited until I had done my amazing, spectacular, perfect reveal you might have known that." Hooligan put on the mask and adjusted it to fit, "how do I look?" asked Hooligan, "fabulous right?"

Bolt smiled. "You look amazing!",she said. "But...where are the eyes?" She raised her eyebrow. "It's so weird....you can't see with those, can you?" She frowned. Then she burst out laughing. "I LOVE IT!!!",she exclaimed, hugging Hooligan. "It's so....YOU!" She looked around. "Now come on, Hooly! Wanna have some fun?!"

"Does the sun shine every day? Of course I wanna have some fun," Hooligan said with a big grin, "and I know the perfect place." Hooligan gave Cipher a hug and teleported them both to outside the school. "What's say we liven the place up." Hooligan wobbled a bit and looked like he was gonna puke, "sorry, I'm still getting used to teleporting."

Bolt giggled. "I didn't feel anything at all," she said. "It's okay, I'm getting used to not setting random stuff on fire too." She looked up at the school. "Hmmm....you know what this place needs? Graffiti." She brought out spray paint. "Here, have one.",she said as she gave one to Hooligan.

"Thanks," said Hooligan as he took the spray paint off Cipher, "time to get to work." Hooligan walked up to the wall and started spraying. He painted a few swears and wrote Buck Education. But his crowning achievement was a huge purple smiley face that had no eyes. He stepped back to look at his work. "You know sometimes I think we're too young to anarchists but I just vandalise stuff and forget it." he looked at Cipher, "your turn."

Bolt nodded and flapped her wings. She zoomed to the wall and painted blue fire. As she did her work, she told Hooligan, "Oh, and by the way, I know I'm just in fourth grade, but the principal said I'm smart enough to move up to seventh grade next week! Cool, right?" She grinned at Hooligan.

"That is pretty cool. Although," said Hooligan looking at the amazing artwork he and Cipher had done, "if he finds out you're the one behind this I don't think that'll be happening." Hooligan gave a small chuckle. "Anyway what's say we head to Hayburger to get something to eat? My treat."

"YAAY! Burgers!" She was jumping up and down. "BURGERS, BURGERS, BURGERS!" She left the spray cans on the ground and turned back to Hooligan. She closed her eyes and when she opened them they were bright blue. Then she told Hooligan, "Hmm...Hayburger....Four blocks,right turn, three blocks, left."

"That is a neat trick you have there," said Hooligan happily as he took off his mask and put it in his bag, "but I'm pretty sure I know how to get to hayburger." Hooligan began walking. As he did he heard his stomache growl. (I really am hungry,) Hooligan thought to him self. He turned to Cipher, "come on the soonet we get there the sooner we can eat."

Bolt nodded and followed. As they walked, Bolt turned to Hooligan. "So....you're gonna go to college soon... What do you wanna major in?" Then she suddenly stopped walking. Just for a few moments, she stopped to think. Just the thought of Hooligan leaving her would be like something out of her worst nightmare. And nightmares weren't a thing to dream demons like her. She started crying. "I....I don't want you to go...and leave me..."

"I'm if all goes according to plan then i'll be majoring in Psycology," said Hooligan as he walked, "i'vebeven been given the opportunity to intern at Ponyville Asylum." Hooligan stopped when he noticed Cipher wasn't walking with him. He turned and saw her crying. Hooligan walked over to her as she said she didn't want Hooligan to leave. "Hey, dry those tears. I may be going to college. But you know there's nothing in this world that could keep me a way from you." Hooligan said as he gave Cipher a comferting hug.

"Hooly....what if...you forget about me? What if when I see you again, you won't remember me?" She wiped her tears, but the tears kept coming. "I...I'm just worried...that...that if you're not there...for me..." She sat down and buried herself into her arms. "You'll just think I'm a complete stranger..." She looked up at Hooligan. "..Will you?"

"Ci you should know I could never forget you," Hooligan said comfortingly as he put his arm over Cipher's shoulder, "I'd forget how to breath before I forget your face." Hooligan sighed, "look I won't lie. With me at college we probably won't be able to hang out as much. But don't you think for a second that I would ever care for you any less then I do right now."

Bolt looked into Hooligan's eyes. She could tell he meant it. After all, Hooligan was like a brother to her. She stopped crying and stood up. Then she put her arms around him. "You promise you won't forget me?" One last tear went down her cheek. She smiled and hugged him tightly.

"I promise I won't forget you cross my heart and hope to fly stick a cupcake in my eye," said Hooligan as he did the actions. Hooligan gave Cipher one last hug and smiled, "now come on, after all that emotional bonding I could really go for a double deep fried hay burger,"

Bolt smiled. "Yeah, I'm pretty hungry too. Sorry about....all this... I was.... just worried for a moment." She stood up straight and adjusted her bow tie. "I'll probably go for a cheeseburger." Bolt wiped her cheek and continued walking towards the restaurant, which was just a few more blocks away.

Hooligan smiled as he and Cipher walked towards the HayBurger. He was glad that he had had another wonderful evening causeing trouble with Cipher. "You know Cipher for all the years i've known you I think that's the first time i've really seen you cry," Hooligan said to Cipher, "I could be mistaken though. You know me attention span of a ... hey look we're here."

"I think I have cried, just maybe not in front of you." They entered the restaurant. Bolt laughed. "I remember that when we were younger I would tell you stories I had made up and you would tune out in like five seconds. Which may be why you haven't ever seen me cry.", she said as she nudged Hooligan.

"I always said your stories could use more dragons," Hooligan said jokingly as they walked up to the counter.

"What can I get you?" asked a pimply adolescent unicorn.

"Could I please get a double deep fried hayburger and a Para-Sprite?"

The cashier turned to Cipher, "and you?"

"I'll have a Para-Sprite too, and a cheeseburger." She smiled at the cashier, expecting one back. He didn't smile back. He only stared at her. Bolt stared back for a while and shrugged. She walked to a seat near the cashier and waited patiently for Hooligan to come over too.

"Will that be all?" asked the cashier.

"Yes thank you," replied Hooligan.

"That'll be 10 bits."

Hooligan played the money and the cashier went into the kitchen. After a few minutes he returned with Cipher and his order. Hooligan grabbed the tray and sat down across from Cipher, "dig in," he said happily.
