A loud, sharp sound woke Peridot from her peaceful sleep. She groaned as she slammed the snooze button.

"Noo...." She said, aggravated. She slowly pulled herself out of bed. She slipped on her thick green glasses and checked her reflection in the mirror. Some days, she thought she'd look in the mirror and see, not herself, but a grave, beautiful girl. Not the Anti-social nerd she actually was. But of course, it would never happen. She quickly got herself ready and sluggishly walked downstairs. Checking the clock, she realized she had next to no time. She grabbed an apple from on top of her counter. She sprinted out the door and started walking to school.

 

The short girl pushed open the doors.

The alarm that Steven has been waiting for all of the previous week finally rang, announcing the beginning of a new experience. 

 

Finally! I never followed up with Connie about what school is, But now I get to find out myself! I wonder what I should bring? Where is the cheeseburger backpack? Where's my uke? Oh no! Everything is spiraling out of control already! I wish I knew where Garnet was, she could fix this dilemma easily.

*hem-hem* I said: I WISH I KNEW WHERE GARNET WAS, SHE COULD FIX THIS DILEMMA EASILY!

Oh well, I'll just do everything else I need to and get Lion to take me to school.
