This is a collab I did a while back and I was wondering if I could get an opinions on it.

 

I know the message of the song is cliche now, the project started over a year ago, it was also the first collab I've ever done

Ok. The lyrics are very well written. However, i think Glitch could lower his local effects a little. They have too much high-end, which could be caused by that filter. You might need to back off of that filter because it could bother your listener. I see Glitch was trying for that WoodenToaster effect, but he dialed in too much high-end. 

 

As for your chords, I see you had a progression with three chords in the key of d minor:

 

i-i-III-VII

 

Here are some other suggestions...

 

i-VII-III-V

 

i-VII-iv-V

 

i-III-iv-V

 

That sweeping sawtooth was amazing in the intro, but it's melody could've been varied slightly. 

 

All in all, it's a well crafted piece, but it could use some work.
