Ballpoint was shocked. This guy had showed up, then left almost immediately afterwards when she said that she was torn up over losing Emerald. Maybe James wasn't so bad after all. Still, that was quick.

 

"Well that... happened," said Ballpoint. "Alright, I'm pretty sure we gotta get to gym class soon."

"yeah 'go'" Emerald was referencing what had happened two days ago in gym/p.e/sports. she picked up her phone and put it away but not before having someone else text her. 'go out with James or the pirate dies.' worse still it was anonymous did Emerald care so much about Gold that she wanted him to live? yes did she want to go out with James. no. a second text followed. 'or give the phone you obtained on your first  day... with the video."

Oh my god, this is ridiculous! Who does this!? Who kidnaps someone because they want their fried to score a date!?"

"We don't know where he is. he could be anywhere from here to Tokyo!" Emerald exclaimed. James put his hoof on her shoulder. "I know where. there's an abandoned warehouse along the waterfront. I saw a Stallion taking a black bag into it before slamming the door shut. I think your friend was in that bag..." he showed the mares a picture of the warehouse. "if you go there take someone strong, we don't need you two dead as well..."

"No wait!" Emerald said taking the phone. "if he knows we've called the cops than he may kill Gold!" Emerald span around to face James. "James I've seen pictures of your muscles you have to be strong enough to stop him and whatever goons he may have please I have a plan."

"alright plan is go!" Emerald said sliding her phone away "right so I go to the front of the warehouse alone with the phone and talk to him about stuff and the phone. James you can come in through the back door and make sure Gold is okay. Ballpoint you... do you... after we're done talking then James you come into the main room and attack the guy pinning him to the ground then Ballpoint you get Gold out of there and I'll assist in keeping him occupied. any questions?"

"Alright then lets go!" Emerald darted out the school before anyone could say anything about it. "Hey wait up!" James called out running after her "you need me to take you to the warehouse." He said taking the lead and running onto the waterfront almost hitting a forklift in the process

They arrived at the warehouse and Emerald stopped for a second took a swig from her flask and went inside. "ah... here she is... I trust you have what I need?" the kidnapper said sitting at a table at the far end of the warehouse... Emerald walked forwards. "please take a seat." he said Emerald did as she was told and sat down. "right now before I give you the phone I want to make one thing clear. you won't kill Gold will you" "I'm a man of my word dear lady." he said "bring him in" Gold was brought in by two Stallions. Emerald placed the phone on the table. "thank-you now kill him". Emerald was shocked "No wait I'll do anything don't kill him."she said standing up. "anything? interesting... come with me..." he took Emerald to a room with a red king-sized bed and red everything else. Emerald knew what he wanted. "no! anything else!" she cried out. "sorry m'lady it's this or he dies..." he said shutting the door.

"Look, I'll stick the video of Emerald and I all over the Internet and give the phone back if you let both Gold and Emerald go. If you don't, this phone goes in the harbor."

"Take her down!" one of the goons said taking out a pistol and firing it at Ballpoint. he hit one of her hooves when James came up behind them. "excuse me?" he said before hitting him in the face and having the other goon begin a hoof fight with him whilst the other goons shot down at them. (Emerald and the kidnapper will be gone for a while whilst they work out a deal.) Emerald heard gunfire but was prevented from leaving the room by the Kidnapper pinning her down

Ballpoint fell and began swearing profusely. "YOU DICKS!" she yelled. Out of anger, pain, and desperation, Ballpoint bit down on the leg of a nearby thug. She had told Emerald that this was stupid and dangerous, and they should have just called police, but she just wouldn't listen.

Emerald looked back up at the kidnapper she recognised his face from the first day of school. it was him the owner of the phone. 

"ARGH! you'll pay for that you bitch!" he yelled as his hoof was bitten. James hurled a brick at the stallion which missed then he threw another which hit him directly in the head. James beat the goon he was fighting with a couple of heavy blows to the stomach and dropped him on the ground

Ballpoint was still swearing and on the ground in pain. The wound didn't look too bad, but she would most definitely need to call an ambulance. "How many of these guys are left!?" she asked. James was surprisingly tough though, which Ballpoint was grateful for.

"Five, six, seven of them, not including the leader" James said counting them up as they scrambled around the various gantries and catwalks that made up the first floor of the warehouse. James climbed up a ladder and ran over to one head butting him backwards and out of the window where he fell infront of an oncoming truck."don't look, don't look" he told himself as he heard the truck impact the goon

Ballpoint was running out of options. Things were turning very bad very fast, and she needed to think of something quick. Using her magic, Ballpoint levitated a gun from one of the fallen thugs and blindly fired it the others in the vain hope of hitting someone.

"I'm hit" one of them said falling from the Gantry and onto the floor. James clapped Ballpoint "Well done girl!" before having the most muscular Stallion jump on him as one of the ponies who could give a decent fight against the strong pegasus. "Ballpoint I need some back up over here!" he shouted struggling to get free.
