Reformed Starlight Glimmer?

From her appearance in "The Crystalling", I was originally worried that she would end up being Sunset Shimmer 2.0 since she seemed to have made a complete 180.  Yet, in "No Second Prances", we actually saw a little bit of the old Starlight come through when she tried to magically force others to do what she wanted (BTW, Big Mac talking was hilarious).  

 

This got me thinking.  Is this reformed version of Starlight Glimmer basically gonna be an MLP equivalent to Dan?

 

Dan vs is another show also made by Hasbro for anyone unaware.  The premise of the show is that the main character Dan is a massive a**hole who frequently does various, questionable things (there was even an episode where he destroyed the entirety of Canada).  However, he always gets called out on his shenanigans and always gets slapped in the face with some sort of karma by the end of each episode.  

 

Do you think Starlight Glimmer would end up being something like that?

I doubt it, at least for the long term. I think Dan is accurate for how her character will be for this season, but I have a feeling that by the end of it, she will have more of the friendship thing down. I actually do like how they are showcasing how out of touch she is with other ponies, it really makes me feel like she has something to fight for, something to work towards and it makes me want her character to get better. They still haven't convinced me that she will do that, but I am liking the idea.
