"Oh, thank god you're okay," said Gadget as he hugged Riley. "The commander pulled you in here badly damaged and missing a leg, but the doctor and I were able get you fixed. We're going to have to do something about those dents later, but at least you're okay now."

"Thank-you... Commander? Doctor? could we have some alone time please?" Riley said holding onto Gadget having plans for when the Commander and Doctor left the room, "you though Gadget... you can stay..." Riley said holding Gadget closer than she had ever before

Redwood left as well as the doctor, and while she may not have entirely approved of what was about to happen, Riley had earned some rest.

If it was possible, Gadget's face went even redder as he reached over to turn the lights off. He was extremely nervous, as he had never even had a girlfriend before, and he had never really had the feelings that he did for Riley before. This was slightly terrifying, but also very exciting.

After they were finished Riley left Gadget on the bed next to her as they snuggled "I love you Gadget..." Riley said as she kissed him once again "Hey... let's do something crazy... let's... run away... I know a good place to stay where the racists won't attack us for what we have"

Gadget didn't want to leave just yet though. He had known the constant fear of the Militia, and he also knew many who had the same fear. He loved Riley with all his heart, but he also didn't want anyone to live with fear like he did, and this was finally his chance to do something about it.

"Mr Gadget may I come in?" a female robotic voice said opening the door, it was too no surprise a medical robot "my sensors picked up a medical anomaly in this mare currently asleep next to you. Requesting permission to examine patient for medical anomalies"

"Uh, sure, go ahead," said Gadget as he got off of the bed.

 

What sort of medical anomaly could it have been? Gadget could only hope that it wasn't life threatening. Riley had more mechanical parts than biological parts, so it didn't seem like there was too much that could go wrong with her.

"Uh, sure, go ahead," said Gadget as he got off of the bed.

 

What sort of medical anomaly could it have been? Gadget could only hope that it wasn't life threatening. Riley had more mechanical parts than biological parts, so it didn't seem like there was too much that could go wrong with her.

The Robot took out a circular buzz-saw and made a cut down Riley's chest making her wake up screaming in pain, it was clear that the robot was either insane or had a programming bug, both or had never seen a synth before, as she was being cut open all of Riley's parts both mechanical and biological could be seen providing the perfect research opportunity or Gadget could stop the robot...

Gadget swore and hit the kill switch on the robot, shutting it down.

 

"I need the doctor!" he frantically yelled while trying to do what he could to fix Riley's mechanical systems.

 

The doctor rushed in, and while Riley was badly hurt, it looked like she would make it through.

Gadget swore and hit the kill switch on the robot, shutting it down.

 

"I need the doctor!" he frantically yelled while trying to do what he could to fix Riley's mechanical systems.

 

The doctor rushed in, and while Riley was badly hurt, it looked like she would make it through.

"w-what the fuck was that thing..." Riley managed through the tears and pained moans, Riley sparked straight from her high voltage fusion cells electrocuting the Doctor and sending a several Kilovolt bolt of electricity into his body making him fall to the ground... dead

"Oh holy shit... I'm so sorry!" Riley sparked again almost hitting the field medic strangely all of her sparks avoided Gadget one even going as far as to stop before it hit him "w-what's going to happen with the Doctor... please tell me he's okay!? "Riley was crying hoping the Doctor wasn't dead

Gadget took a brief moment to look at the clearly dead doctor, then lied, "Uhh... he's fine, don't worry about it. Just focus on um... not dying."

 

With a few more minutes of work, the field medic said, "She's in stable condition, but she'll need some rest. I'd recommend she stay here for now."

Gadget took a brief moment to look at the clearly dead doctor, then lied, "Uhh... he's fine, don't worry about it. Just focus on um... not dying."

 

With a few more minutes of work, the field medic said, "She's in stable condition, but she'll need some rest. I'd recommend she stay here for now."

"Bullshit! you can't keep me here!" Riley tried to get up but fell onto the medical Robot with a loud metal clanging sound, the weight of the two steel bodies on one floor panel made a section of the floor collapse. "somepony get a crane..." Riley groaned rubbing her head

"Well, a medical robot went nuts on Riley, so I had to fix her with the doc, and he actually got kinda got electrocuted, but when we were finished, Riley fell through the floor," explained Gadget.

 

Redwood just sighed and went downstairs, picking Riley up when she found her.

Riley's fall had pancaked two ponies under the roof section, medical robot and synth herself making more ponies suspect her as a spy from either the Institute or Militia, her hooves were covered in her own blood trickling from the crushed Medical robot

Redwood swore to herself when she saw the two ponies that had been killed by the ceiling. It seemed like Riley was becoming more trouble than she was worth, but she had helped start this, so Redwood wouldn't let anyone say that she was to leave.

 

As she set Riley back down on the infirmary bed, she walked over to Gadget and said in a low voice, "Listen, ah need y'all keep an eye on Riley."

 

Gadget nodded before walking over to Riley and saying, "Good thing I didn't have to patch you up again."

"yeah..." this time Riley knew what she had done she kept playing back the moment the ceiling fell, the screaming, the crunching of bones and then the silence... she looked down at the ponies clearing up the mess she had made on the floor below... right now she wasn't the most popular...

"Wel... I might be able to whip something up. A specific memory removal like that would be really tricky though, and I'm not totally sure what the full effects on your neuro-computational matrix would be. But... I can still try and do something to help you out."

"please do whatever you can... I don't need the memories of their deaths..." Riley looked at her hooves which were soaked in blood which was having adverse effects on her wiring and circuitry making her occasionally shut down for a split second and start up again
