"hey who organised this group? who lead the rebellion that started this movement? that was me" Riley said quite proud of managing to convince a small army of ponies to help fight the battle against the Militia "C'mon we've got an Overseer's office to get to..." Riley began walking outside

Redwood put a hoof on Riley's shoulder and said, "Listen, ah realize that y'all were th' one who rallied everypony to take back th' town, but we're talkin' about a large scale uprisin'. Ah'm older, more experienced, and ah got some of th' best trainin' ya can find in th' wasteland. Trust mah judgement, alright?"

Redwood put a hoof on Riley's shoulder and said, "Listen, ah realize that y'all were th' one who rallied everypony to take back th' town, but we're talkin' about a large scale uprisin'. Ah'm older, more experienced, and ah got some of th' best trainin' ya can find in th' wasteland. Trust mah judgement, alright?"

"Fine let's just get to the vault so we don't have to worry about this stuff anymore..." Riley said as she followed the group on the shortest route to the Vault keeping her eye out for any attackers or ponies of the sort, she kept  checking her pip-buck for updates on the groups, they were all fine

They would need to appoint officers as well as organize their fighting force and gain support from settlements around the Wetlands.

 

"We should have a flag," said Redwood as she walked. "It'll be somethin' ponies can rally around."

They would need to appoint officers as well as organize their fighting force and gain support from settlements around the Wetlands.

"yeah... but what should the flag be of? I mean a Gator tooth could work but that just seems stupid to me... you got any ideas Red?" Riley said as the two of them walked behind the group into the Vault, "I mean it could have something to do with the vault but that's a bit obvious..."

They would need a symbol if they were going to fight. Something that ponies could fly on their doorstep and look to for hope.

"Hey your the one who was in a faction with a flag for several years of her life not me..." Riley said to Redwood as she unlocked the door to the overseer's office, "ah nice and roomy in here, just the way I like it... I could get  used to this..." Riley kicked back on the chair and relaxed

"Seein' as how we're pretty much in charge of this, should we have titles, or at least some kinda rank?" said Redwood as she inspected the office.

 

Hopefully the Vault would have a working radio transmitter, as that would make it much easier to coordinate.

"uhh how about commander? or Capitan? do either of those work?" Riley said writing ideas on the chalk board in the office which was now their personal base of operations "hmm... I don't know... it seems like something that would be easy but the naming is the hardest part"

"Ah can live with commander," said Redwood as she sat at the overseer's desk and looked out the window. For now, they would wait for everypony to arrive. After that, they could begin settling in, figuring out some sort of organization, and planning their next move.

"Alright then, I'm gonna go check on our food supplies, see if we can last a couple of nights without needing to kill anything... just yet..." Riley left the office and began walking down to the supply rooms at the bottom of the vault, there were some rad roaches but nothing she couldn't handle

Redwood decided to take a look around the Vault herself. The sleeping quarters seemed to be just fine, save for some dirty mattresses and tattered jumpsuits. There were thankfully facilities for growing food, and it looked like the reactors could be made functional with some repairs.

Redwood decided to take a look around the Vault herself. The sleeping quarters seemed to be just fine, save for some dirty mattresses and tattered jumpsuits. There were thankfully facilities for growing food, and it looked like the reactors could be made functional with some repairs.

Riley picked up a clip board and began making notes on supplies, seventeen crates of cola, three crates of breakfast cereals in assorted flavours, eight teen containers of assorted food stuffs, Three boxes of 10mm ammunition, eight boxes of 5.56 ammo and so on and so forth

Redwood continued exploring the Vault, and came across a room filled with large metal pods. The room seemed a bit colder, and upon further inspection, Redwood found that the pods were filled with corpses. What reall surprised her was that one of the pods held Riley's corpse. After pulling it out, she went to find Riley.

 

"Riley," said Redwood before throwing the corpse down right in front of her. "Y'all got some explainin' to do."

Did anything I know ever happen? no! no! this isn't happening I...I don't know what I am anymore! am I real? is she real? are we both real!?" Riley panicked

"A synth is like a pony in every way... they work for a secret underground organization no pony in knows what goes on down their but sometimes they'll kidnap ponies make a synth version and then send them both out... " Riley looked at herself, the real Riley who had been to collage, had a dead brother, and watched the nukes touch down, "i wonder what her life was like... until she died..." Riley said touching her dead self

Riley seemed like any other pony. She ate, breathed, bled, and felt like Redwood or anypony else. Really, Redwood had no idea what to hint of this.

"No I was talking about her colt friend! I only have her memories! besides there's no biological difference between synths and ponies except ponies have brains and Synths have code and PCBs but the fact's right here! she's been in here since 2077 and I was built in 2286..."

The only thing that she was being left with was more questions, and the situation kept on getting more bizarre.

"I've always suspected something... like all Synths... so I did some research... and a PCB is a Printed Circuit Board a new compact version of the old giant circuit board built for the newer generation of synths... like me... I need some time alone Red..." Riley said walking off

This wasn't good. They had an uprising to start, and Redwood couldn't have Riley walking off on her now. The situation was so out of left field though, and she really had no idea what to do about it. For now, Redwood would let Riley have her space while things got started around here.
