ManaMinori 4,149 May 30, 2016 Share May 30, 2016 After watching a headcanon review from Dulcet Tone on YT, i found myself agreeing with the theory he presented of the moral of the episode being a wake-up call by the new writers who offer an outsider's perspective, aimed at Hasbro, who- like AJ, is stuck in their routine ways (Dulcet pointed out the mid-season hiatuses as an example, but there could be more) What do you guys think? Are the new writers calling out Hasbro through this episode? What, if anything, do you think the new writing team might be calling for Hasbro to change? 1 Under the Jellicle Moon- a site with cuteness, cat boys, and comic strips / Star Dreams Fanclub

This episode's premise was submitted December 9, 2014. Going forward a bit to when the moral would've been more fleshed out, the 1st draft was submitted on February 4th, 2015. The final draft was submitted April 7th, 2015. That was only a few days after season 5's premiere, when mid-season hiatuses wouldn't come until several weeks later (season 4 was almost entirely uninterrupted). Plus the staff have constantly said that they aren't told the scheduling in advance. So it's not in reference to the mid-season hiatuses.
