Doubt that Twilight was jealous, or that she intentionally cut off communication between Sunset and Celestia. In retrospect, I do have to wonder why Twilight didn't bring Sunset back to Equestria with her. Couldn't she? Sunset might have been established in Canterlot High, but would stranding her in this strange land surrounded by people she had formerly tormented necessarily be better than bringing her back to Ponyville? I guess the problem is that the writers didn't want the movie to impact the show, as it might cause confusion for those who haven't seen it, but it's just another thing where I wonder what might have happened if it had gone differently.

 

Also on that list: What if Twilight came through the portal actually looking her age, i.e. way too old for high school?
