Subtle pony talk on non pony sites?

Suppose, because of your love of all things pastel colored ponies, you wanted to bring your enthusiasm to a non pony site. But in order to prevent scaring the natives away with pony talk, you had to go about it subtly and discreetly. In what ways would you go about such a challenge? 

 

For example, I recently re-joined a non-pony board where I used to provide theories on worldbuilding, NPC's, and the like. Now, because I'm more interested in pony and pony theories (but have kept the spark warm on some of the other site's characters), I desire to blend the two passions. Some of their NPC's are personifications of stars from the Orion constellation (I love celestial based characters), and while doing a bit of research after recalling that Twilight mentions the "Horsehead Nebula", after watching the stars through a telescope in "Its about Time",  My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic Issue #2, in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic Issue #4, and in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic Issue #24. I discovered that that is, in fact, an existing nebula in the Orion constellation! (Equuleus and Pegasus are also real constellations that I could make reference to , while discussing non pony characters).
