Standards for the show

I think negative opinions arise due to standards that are too high. The show is so close to people's hearts, they feel like its perfect, then when a new episode comes out that defies that, despite flawed episodes in the past, suddenly it bothers them.

Like some get bothered by the cringey moments, others complain about ponies being OOC or bad writing.

But think of it this way, the episodes still have value. Well, except maybe some of those very predictable boring ones. The episodes with bad lessons, sure, if it'd be bad for all demographics. But some people criticize a lesson from an episode, when its not just boring or a weak lesson. Like S7E9 people are saying AJ was too harsh. Which reminds me of when they said that other episode when Dash was imitating her friends in the Wonderbolts, saying the Wonderbolts were kinda hazing her.

Thing is AJ learned a lesson that was a very legitimate and well presented lesson, even if its out oc character you have to realize there are different writers writing for different reasons, kinda like fanfiction. People used the characters to set up a moral, and the moral was well done, idc if some people are upset because theres a thing called artistic liberty. For the sake of the episode to actually made sense, AJ had to be inconsiderate. If she wasn't, not only would the moral fall short, then whoever was playing an antagonizing role to her stance would be blamed instead, then we would have three reasons to be upset instead of one.

I liked the episode, it was well presented, and I didn't see anything wrong with it, but I also don't have as much headcanon as others is why I am more laid back about it. Or maybe others get hurt because they familiarize themselves with the show to a point where they always are having it not reach their expectations.

This episode was good, the moral was good, if you can't handle a loved character displaying a negative trait you are in denial. AJ already had her moments for disagreeing with Rarity on fashion. It was long established she didn't really care for fashion. Yes, she values hard work, but just like others, they don't always see what work went into something at first glance, and she might've even considered it a waste of time, rather than work work, so that's not the same sorta argument. Like how gamer youtubers their parents might think they just have fun all day and get paid to do it and might underestimate them because its non-standard work.

That was AJ's standard, that is the offended brony's standard, or so it seems. I know when an episode lacks content, like, one of those older Spike episodes, or the recent Fluttershy one, but even those have their merits. The Fluttershy one might be written for the little girl demographic for all we know, same with that other Spike episode. Idr what episode names r called because that's not the important part to me usually, sorry m8s lol.

Anyways, people saying AJ had tact before, yeah. Well, lets say a bigot is a nice person, til they are a bigot. Yeah, they are capable of tact, were they tactful when they were offensive? No. That's not an inconsistency, because its a different topic and context. AJ was similar here (inb4 triggered fans cuz comparing her to a bigot).

This is my honest opinion. Episode 9 was solid. Everyone has different tastes, because after all, in the end it is entertainment. The episode presented itself clearly, it didn't have pacing issues, and it gave a good moral. And while Rarity enabled AJ she didn't intend to, and ended up helping AJ to understand, so, it doesn't matter if she was partly 'to blame'. Nopony has to get blamed, its just  a misunderstanding. Would you punish somepony for making an honest mistake?

Well I am done, the episode was solid. One of my more enjoyed episodes this season, I actually think its my favorite episode this season, and Dash's recent episode was good, but more repetitive and the conflict was alot easier to resolve tho it was certainly a feel good episode.

All things that interact with the world exert a force. All things that exert a force have an opposite and equal force. Ergo, nothing immaterial exists [because where would the opposite force be without material as a medium?]. Ergo god doesn't exist immaterially. Also if the universe were infinite itd take infinite time for a god to make it. If it were finite it'd be subject to entropy. Which means an eternal god can't exist.
