Forsaken of the Everfree 1x1 with Maple Bat

Luna drew her blade and created a barrier around the 2 of them "You are a coward Crimson! You should have gave up all those years ago." She wanted to teleport to him and take care of him but that would make her drop the barrier. So she waited until the unicorns had shot first then she'd attack while they reloaded.

"Perhaps I am, but in what sense? I am merely doing where Sombra failed. Instead of trying to conquer Equestria, I will simply wipe out everything and start something new. And without any survivors, it means no resistance. Something that Sombra could never get trough that thick skull of his."

"But why come here? I would have suspected that you and your sister would be hiding behind your armies like a bunch of cowards, that is what Celestia has been doing all this time, so what is stopping you? The colt is the one I am after, not you."

Luna started laughing "I know for a fact you won't be able to kill every single pony in equestria and I can think of one that could kill you if they tried hard enough." She spoke of Maple the guard she never saw not training or guarding while she where on duty. "So I'm going to give you a chance to give up otherwise you will die maybe not here but you will."

Crimson smirked, not hiding his amusement.

"Oh? You think I am not capable of that? I would have told you my secrets, but I am no fool in that regard. After all...."

His horn started glowing.

"You won't be here leaving alive."

Out of the walls started coming to some sort of poisonous fog.

It leaked into the entire because if there is one thing a barrier doesn't stop, it is wind and fog itself.

Jack's eyes widened as he realised what was happening.

He teleported out the barrier and reappeared before Crimson.

He drew his knife and tried to stab straight at him.

But his attack proved futile as Crimson simply sidestepped.

He drew his own sword and stabbed Jack straight into his belly, blood was leaking from the wound.

Jack tried to get himself free with all the remaining power he had left but Crimson grabbed Jack's head and kept smashing it against a wall, constantly hitting on the same point where he had hit his head earlier.

The other unicorns meanwhile started firing a barrage of magic and bolts straight at her barrier.

Crimson looked at the brutally wounded form of Jack.

"You won't be running from me anymore." he said with an look of anger in his eyes.

When the dust their from attacks had cleared Luna was gone. She had teleported next to Crimson and she brought her sword down at a speed faster than the normal eye could manage to see then she teleported again working on taking out the rest of the unicorns that where attacking her.

Crimson managed to block the with his own sword, but just at the last moment, as Luna had shown an insanely fast reflex move.

where getting slaughtered.

a plan in his head, his grin grew wider, but it was hard to sin because his face was shielded from his sorcerer helmet. 

'I objective will stay the same after all.' he thought with amusement.

"Enjoy your little warm up." he said with a taunting voice to Luna

He picked up the body of Jack and teleported further down some hallways.

He entered a room and closed the door shut.

"It is pathetic i have to rely on a colt for this to work.. But you are not just any colt are you? It is one of the reasons why everypony wants to leave you for death once they set your eyes on you. But you won't have to worry about that, I am not one to squander my investments.

He levitated a knife towards his hoofs and rolled Jack over on the floor.

He then stabbed into the open wound, and started digging in his body with the knife, almost like performing an operation in the hospital.

"Good.... Your magical implants are still working. I would hate for them to malfunction." he chuckled.

After Luna finished off most of the unicorns she saw Crimson walk into another room and then she saw the door close "Not this time." She said to herself blasting the door with a huge beam of magic blowing it off. "I'm not letting you go so easily this time!" She yelled running in after him.

Crimson was almost done when he heard Luna yelling.

He looked back at Jack.

"We are not yet done Child, il guess we will have to postpone our little operation until matters have been dealt with."

He said as he opened up some sort of portal, and threw the limb figure of Jack straight into it, and by closing it after.

When Luna barged in, he stabbed in sword into the ice like material floor.

"Now that little colt is no longer my concern, I think it is time we settle things between us." he said.

"Agreed!" She shouted realizing she hasn't fought a battle like this in centuries she stopped She figured the only advantage she had was her alicorn magic being stronger that his magic She had an idea She could just summon her retainer to help her, She created a portal.

Maple was waiting at the defensive line when a portal opened beneath her she recognized it as Luna's but wonder why she opened it "Woody you're in charge now I'm needed else where." she said as she fell through it landing in an ice covered cavern "Maple Bat Reporting for combat." She said as she gathered where she was she saw Crimson vision again "You!" She shouted aiming her bow at them.

"Ahhh, so it 2 for the price at 1?"

He looked at them with a grin.

"Lets make this, fast shall we? I have a unicorn to attend to after all."

Jack was squirming in pain.

He did not where he even was, he was some sort of dark room.

his wound was bleeding like crazy, he tried to stop the bleeding with his hooves, but it didn't help all.

"So this is how I am going to die? I should have seen this coming." he said with this tears in his eyes.

He closed his eyes.

"Even if I live after this by some miracle, it won't really matter. I am not wanted by anybody out there, i cannot show my faces around Equestria any longer.... At least... not anymore..."

He looked at his knife for a second.

"Should I make it quicker? I am just going to bleed to death in the end, I might as well make it quicker... I dont know..." he said with a sigh.

Maple was angered when he said 2 for the price of one with Luna by her side she would easily crush this unicorn. Maple's pupils shark when he said unicorn to attend to, She knew who he was talking about. "You dare!" She yelled. There was evil in her voice that reminded Luna of Nightmare Moon.

Luna took a step back. "Maple What are you doing?" She could tell something was wrong. Did the doctors get all of the dark energy out of her mind or is this the result of it's manifestation. Luna thought about stopping Maple but she didn't have the courage If it gets any worse I will.

Maple walked up to the Unicorn Ignoring Luna entirely "I have had just about enough of you. This time I will kill you. No longer am I giving you any mercy this is a fight to the death." She aimed her bow fired 3 shots at Crimson, then she quickly grabbed her spear and aimed for the heart of the Unicorn while the arrows where still traveling at him.Her spear moved fast and had enough sheer power behind it to crack the ground when she lept at him.

Crimson smiled at the display.

He suddenly saw 3 arrows fly towards, while Maple was striking at him with an incredible force.

Such an attack rather difficult to intercept all at the same time with such a short time span.

Instead, Crimson's horn glowed and his entire body became surrounded by dark magic, almost like a second armour but made of attack.

The arrows got incinerated on impact, the energies leaking some sort of fire that occasionally burned around him.

When the spear was going to hit, he drew his sword and slashed his own sword against the spear, creating a tug of war between the 2 weapons.

The blade itself began to glow brighter than ever before.

"Now you are getting to it, but by all means, do not stop. We all have to take this path sometime."

A normal unicorn would never be able to hold this kind of Struggle against Maple's strength, perhaps an earth pony at most. But Crimson was hiding something immense.

Jack still lay on the ground, bleeding like crazy, he still held the knife in his mouth, he had trouble deciding what would be the best thing to do at this moment.

"Oh, who am i kidding! I don't have the guts to even do it!" he said as he dropped the knife to the ground.

"I could have easily avoided this if i didn't charge like a madman, but i  let my anger get the better of me. This is probably the reason why most ponies are likely to abandon me so quick, i am more of a liability than a fighter at this point."

He then pulled away his hooves from his wound.

"I am not going to delay this any longer, the last thing i want is to give myself even more pain."

Maple went from clashing her weapon with Crimson's into a spinning step side ways dodging his blade, thrusting her spear just as harshly into his side "Where's Jack Tell me and I might let you live."

Luna stood there stunned she'd never seen a display of strength quite like this from her retainer.

Crimson started laughing.

"And you think he is still alive? He is probably already dead as our entire confrontation went, a blade straight trough the stomach, do you really anypony could survive that?" he said with a grin.

"But don't worry, but perhaps you should be more grateful for your own life? You still got one to live after all."

"I refuse to believe he's gone now tell me where he is. Perhaps I can save him" She charged him once again knocking his blade away with the blunt end of her spear flipping the spear to the sharp in lunging at the neck.

Luna was no longer nervous her fighting style still seemed the same as normal. She was just really angry.

"It would be pretty wasteful if I told you now it would it? I am not one to squander my investments."

The spear thrusted into his neck, and a weird red smoke came from it oozing from the wound, similar to what happened in the crystal empire.

The feeling of 2 beings came back into Crimson's form, something was manipulating his body.

"That's the way, let it all out!"

He grabbed the spear and pulled it out of his neck, and threw it to the side.

"I wanted to give you a chance to walk away, but you are obviously too stubborn for that aren't you? Have it your way, I will no longer use any restraints in our battle."

He said as his eyes started glowing a dark green.

He punched Maple across the Muzzle, following by making 5 copies of himself around her.

The copies set their teeth in her, all suddenly showing fangs that resemble that closely of a bat pony.

Jack had fainted from all the blood loss, while he wasn't dead, he was still in a dreaming like state.

Maple endured the pain "Are... Are you even controlling your own body?" She asked in her normal tone then her pupils shrank again  "NO! Of course you aren't you never play fair." Her body grew a darker her, wings longer,and her fangs Sharper taking on a nightmarish appearance as the darkness inside her freed it's self This is new... She thought Feels good. I feels stronger. Bucked the copy behind her, Kicked the one in front of her she tend jumped away because she had less weight on her firing arrows taking out the other 3. "Let's see what you've really got, You lifeless vessel."

 

Luna had enter Jack's dream even though he was unconscious "Jack? Where are you?"

Crimson's smile grew even wider.

"It looks like you finally have to decided to embrace the true nature of power, you are not much different from me in that regard."

He said as he kept fighting back.

Jack's ears picked up from the familiar voice in his dream.

"I don't know... The bastard threw me in some sort of portal, and now I am in some sort of dark cave... I have no idea where I am honestly, all I know is that he has been stuffing something into my wound..."

"I'm nothing like you." Maple roared "I'll use this power to protect equestria especially from monsters like you" She then had a dumb idea she threw her spear at him then ,followed it up with several consecutive shots from her bow, afterwards dashing up to catch the spear before it hit Crimson driving it home.

 

Luna nodded to Jack "I'll see if I can locate you with my magic but it may take a while. Don't lose hope Maple's putting up a really good fight right now for your sake."

Jack gave her a worried look. "I just hope she is going to be ok, it's going to be ha-" he was suddenly interrupted as he was forced outside his dream all of the sudden.

"What?!" he said suddenly awake. He looked around, and he heard hoof steps.

'No...' he thought.

the hoof steps were coming closer.

Jack grasped his wound as he threw away his cloak.

2 unicorn enclaves came walking in as Jack hid around the corner.

"Your whole enclave will fall!" Maple said starting to lose control over her actions Gotta' fight back She thought Need to beat him.

 

"Jack? Hello?" Luna said in the real world trying to get back into his dream. She gave up and tried some sort of detection spell to see if Jack was still in this cave system.

Crimson was getting pushed back from the increasing strength of Maple.

"I will drag Equestria with me before that happens!" he said he started focusing on defence and hit and run attacks.

Jack jumped out of the corner and struck at one of the unicorn's, using most of his magic to incinerate the body of its opponent entirely.

The other unicorn drew its sword and slashed at Jack.

He managed to dodge it, but the blade wen't across his face, creating a big cut on his forehead.

Jack was trying to fight the unicorn, but it was futile, he was getting weaker and weaker from his wound on his belly, it took all his remaining power just to stand on his hooves

Maple's blows where becoming increasingly more savage and merciless. She was losing control If this keeps up then I may attack luna after I finish this.

 

Luna however had teleported away when she sensed Jack's life force to attempt to find him but her teleport had been messed up by something. "Jack?" She called out.

Crimson could see the taint in Maple's as they were still fighting.

'The mare is losing control, I expected it to happen eventually, but this early on? She is one rare breed." he thought with interest.

'But at the same time it's pretty alarming that I have to exhaust this much power into a single opponent, it is time to wrap this up." he thought.

Crimson started teleported back constantly with each spell, creating an afterimage effect that was constantly heading backwards.

The clashing of blades echoed trough the caverns as Jack was holding a final stand against his unicorn opponent, but Jack was losing badly as he desperately was trying to hold his own against the unicorn by levitating a blade he picked up from the dead body.

'I can't keep this up! I am going to far beyond my bodies limit!' he thought desperately as he was getting pushed back further.

'I cannot do this!! What I thinking?!' he thought in a panic.

As he heard the call out of Luna, he dropped his guard by mistake, and give the unicorn an opportunity to strike as the blade made a deep cut in his left back hoof.

Maple decided she'd had enough of his magic and started aiming for his horn moving even faster attempting to cut off his magic. It'll be easy once we are on a level playing field A voice inside her told her.

Luna ran towards the sound of clashing metal "Hold on I'm on my way." She arrived and saw Jack injured by the Unicorn. "I'll Fight thee come here so we can beat you."
