Forsaken of the Everfree 1x1 with Maple Bat

"Alright, and she is fine, I think, I haven't seen her for a while, I have been travelling for 12 days in order to get here."

"I had travel straight trough Changeling territory, but i managed to it with lots of will power in the end."

Ember nodded "Lets go somewhere we can get better practice than just swinging a weapon" She was about to fly off before saying "Oh wait wings. Come on this way I'll train you similarly to the way I helped out Maple then."

Jack nodded as he followed her.

It was rather peaceful in Griffinstone until something dreadful happened.

Crimson Vision in new clad armour, along with his New high sorcerer and cabal started attacking all griffons around them.

Many death, some managed to escape just in time.

"Hahahahhaha! Crystal Rose thinks to behind griffons? This is far too amusing! They are too primitive to slow our advance!" The sorcerer said.

"She is sure to be nearby, it is time we wipe out the bloodline of Princess Amore for good." Crimson said.

They started fighting their way with much ease, their combined powers were keeping the charging griffon soldiers at bay while the ranged ones were obliterated by ranged spells.

 Crystal Rose was a Unicorn mare, she was doing her makeup in her room when suddenly the door was blown apart.

She looked with a horrified expression as Crimson walked into her room with his blade levitating in the air.

"Who are you?!" She shouted in a panic.

"I am your reliever, and consider this your farewell party." Crimson said with a tone full of hatred.

He then slashed her head off her body it one fast sweep.

He then walked outside.

"The deed is done, we should not waste any more time on this forsaken rock." Crimson said as they all gathered together and then teleported away.

Woody, Discord, and Maple, All of whom are sensitive to chaos it's self, felt a disturbance in the balance of magic. "What was that?" Woody and Maple asked Discord.

"That... was not good." Discord said "The bloodline of a royal family has been ended. So seeing as 'Tia and Luna are still Alive as well as Flurry is here too..."

"That can only mean Crystal Rose was killed." Celestia said "And i'm guessing that it-"

"Was 100% Crimson Vision." Luna finished "She was last seen in the place know as Griffinstone so-"

"I'm heading there.... alone." Maple said. "This can only end with one of us lying cold on the ground. If I lose now then you all need to go into hiding to save equestria in the future."

Everyone nearby jumped "What!"

"No." Celestia said "You will not go alone." Her horn started to glow.

Maple started glowing as well She felt herself becoming stronger.

Luna saw what she was doing. "Sister we know Maple is strong but even with all our magic combined we can't beat him."

Celestia finished giving Maple her energy saying to Luna "I know we can't but She can."

Luna, Cadence, Discord, and Woody all nodded agreement transferring their strength into her. Afterwards Maple's coat was shimmering a almost golden color. "Thank you all." She said "I'll make sure if I lose this will go back to you. Now to show this pony I mean business." She grabbed her armor and spear both of which when she picked them up turned gold and purple, A perfect unison of night and day. She put the armor on and went to go find Crimson.

Ember put a training dummy down in the room."Alright so something you have to understand is that rage and strength accomplish nothing." She said picking up a sword. "Watch if I was angry at the dummy I'd go like this." She slashed across the dummy violently a huge cut appearing in the chest. "A pony who took a hit like that could still be alive. Contemplate you enemies next move then strike with room to breath." She stepped to the dummies side flipped the blade so it was parallel with her arm and took the dummies head clean off. "No coming back from that. Now you try." She put down another dummy and handed Jack the sword.

Jack nodded as he grasped the sword in his hooves, while he stood on his hind hooves.

It was heavy for him, but he still managed to hold it.

He was wondering how he was going to pull off with a sword of such weight until an idea formed in his head.

He held the sword a bit to his side as the edge of the blade rested on the ground.

He held his breath as he gave his body a violent turn, swooping the blade into the same direction.

The spin itself caused the sword to have an increased momentum that went trough the left shoulder and the neck of the dummy, its head flying off.

Jack dropped the sword and started to pant hard.

Ember nodded  "Now that's using your head." She sighed when she realized her joke there "That's what I was talking about not just swinging at them aiming for weak points or using something else like gravity or momentum to increase the power behind a hit. A blow like that one probably would have broken most armors too." She picked up the sword putting it away and grabbed a staff. A long pole with a large red gem on the ends with a button on the side. Ember pressed it and a curved blade extended from the gem. "Naginata, That's what this is." She said "Your mother prefers a spear to stab with, but with a weapon like this you swipe at them to make it hurt. Try this one." She stabbed the bladed end into the ground."

Jack grabbed the staff and once again took his stance.

He held hid breath and followed the sound of his heart beats.

He was using that sound as a way to make a good timing into his attack, waiting for the right moment to strike.

Jack held the weapon a bit behind him, resting the blade part on the ground but placing it in a specific direction.

When the 20th heartbeat reached its time, Jack made a strong linear thrust, using the momentum of the weapon in a way to make up for the lack of strength in Jack's body.

The thrust went straight trough the head of the dummy, slicing it in half like a katana would.

Jack stumbled to the ground as he tried to regain his breath, using such tricks in while still being a Colt are a lot harder to maintain than older ponies because of their grown bodies.

"Not exactly what I expected." She said "I thought you try a swipe with it like a sword. Didn't even know that'd happen. Guess you're teaching me a thing or two kid." She thought about what weapon to use next. "Alright lets try something heavier." She pulled out a war hammer and slung it over her shoulder. "Might want to use magic with this one."

Jack picked up the Warhammer with his magic, but even then he groaned from the sheer weight while holding it in his magic.

He came up with an 2 strike attack as he rotated the Warhammer a bit in the air, leaving it upside down, then he levitated it above the head of the dummy, and did a fast bash like move against it, wich would leave a sickening crack to any real opponent.

As the Dummy fell down, Jack readied the Warhammer again in correct position and crushed the Dummy's head with a fast with a powerfull strike.

"Nice one kid I would have avoided the last hit personally but hey whatever works." Ember said "We have a few more weapons but I think you understand the basics of how to fight efficiently. Plus I have stuff I need to attend to. I hope you understand."

Maple was rapidly approaching griffinstone. "Crimson Show yourself!" Her voice boomed. "We need to settle our differences in a dual so come out of hiding and fight me." She thought he wouldn't reveal himself with out a trade.

Jack nodded "Thanks Ember."

Surprisingly Crimson Vison came out to the town square, the corpse of Crystal Rose trailing behind him.

"Perhaps we do, and it seems you have gotten quite the power boost." Crimson said.

Fluttershy greeted Jack "So did it go well? I sure hope so. You do seem much more confident now... I... I think."

Maples gaze fixed on Crimson. "You'll pay for what you've done." She held her spear out pointing the blade at him "Attacking equestria, Assault on the crystal empire, attempted murder of thousands, and Murders 2 entire villages, and murder of the last of a royal bloodline, Crimson vision..." She moved so fast she seemingly teleported next to Crimson. "I find you guilty." Her blade flashed through crimson nothing happened for a few seconds then a huge blast passed through him.

Jack, however, seemed to have changed into a pretty bleak expression, but quickly changed it.

"Yeah..... It went well. Hey listen, it was fun meeting up with you 2, I am afraid this is going to be a goodbye." he said.

Crimson got blown away by the blast but quickly recovered. "Now this is getting interesting," he said as he drew his blade.

He made 3 copies of himself as they all started teleported constantly in random directions but engage closer to Maple everytime.

When they got close enough they started attacking from all sides, while the real Crimson was preparing some sort of massive spell.

"Very well." Twilight said "we still have to find those anim-" Twilight felt something "What was that... Did you feel that."

Fluttershy looked around a minute. "I don't feel anything. Am.... I supposed to?"

"Perhaps only unicorns and alicorns can feel it." Twilight said

Maple gripped her spear she lunged at one taking them out in one lunge. One of the clones managed to attack her the armor reflecting the blade She moved up to Crimson who was charging something so she had a chance here. "Behold the eclipse's strength." She shouted lunging at him.

Crimson had to quickly teleport out of the way in order to Dodge maple's attack wich was coming with an insane speed.

'Her powers have increased beyond belief, I only surmise they must have poured all of their powers into her as the last triumph card. They must be getting really desperate if they need to do something like that against me.' he thought he kept attacking Maple with Doomblast from afar while he kept his distance.

Maple chased after Crimson every time he teleported. Her blade easily slashed through his magic dispelling it thanks to Woody's magic. She was amazed at her strength now she wasn't tiring either. I only hope this is enough she thought. I must not fail now. "I told you Crimson, Equestria won't die easily. Now face your Judgement."

"Judgement will only be served once all of you fools are death!!" he said

He started gathering a massive load of magic in his horn and then fired a massive dark magic ball that was the size of a house.

Jack walked away, he then used his dark magic to use a long forgotten spell that creates a portal wich bypasses the barriers between this dimension of Apographa itself.

He walked trough it.

It was for some time later that he was standing in the same place where Maple once stood.

"Apographa, it's over! All this senseless slaughter and bloodshed has already brought enough ruin to us. But you wanted me, and here I am!"

"After all this running and now you personally deliver yourself to me? That seems quite the ambush if you ask me."

The voice boomed all over the area.

Jack drew his weapons, but instead of holding on to them, he threw them to the ground, using it as a sign of surrender.

"There is no need for me to even lay an ambush because I am not here to fight, I am here to give myself over to you. To fulfil that part of the bargain." Jack without any trace of emotion.

"So eager to throw away your only chance of life?"

"All those around me treat me like an outcast, I am doing them a service, I die so that others may live, such is my final testimony."

"You are rather noble to throw away your life just like that, not many would show such traits. It is time Gonriel. We can finally continue where we left off.."

Maple stared at the blast. She channeled her energy into her spear. "I refuse for you to take anyone else. Not me or my family. Not a single pony. I work hard to protect those I love. Those who trust me. I will protect equestria so my son can grow up and, live here happily, now prepare to die. The goddesses gave me this power and I refuse to let it go to waste." The blade on her spear started glowing She sliced the blast the spear head absorbing the blast energy and it broke taking on to much energy. No... My spear. I can still win this.

Crimson grinned.

"You shall not come very far like this. Perhaps you sho-" Crimsons talk was suddenly interrupted as he felt a familiar energy signal in his link.

'Something is manifesting in Apographa, could it be'  Crimson stood there staring blankly at the sky.

"What's wrong." Maple yelled "My words finally reach your mind and you've decided to give up..." She already knew the answer but the she saw him looking up she looked up trying to see what he was looking at "Wha... What are you looking at."

"It seems the dark deed has been finished after all, even without my help."

he then turned around to Maple.

"The bargain has been fulfilled, the one who we have been looking for has willingly condemnt  himself at our doorstep, isn't that just ironic, after all that effort into finding him?"

"This has made my task a lot easier." Crimson said laughing out loud.

[Maple Bat 3,568]

"I... I... guess I'll have to call this dual off for now." She stormed off leaving an afterglow "Jack! Hold on." She stormed into Apographa abandoning all fear and replacing it with hope that Jack is alright. Please... Please don't be too late. She channeled the alicorn energy once again in order to block any magic Apographa would use to stop her. "Apographa! Don't... You... DARE. It's time for you to meet the same divine retribution that your apprentice deserves. I, Maple Bat will smite you both down for the sake of Luna, 'Tia and my father. Prepare to face your judgment."

Jack somewhere high up the air, weird green tentacles were wrapping around his body, some went inside his mouth.

"You? Stop me? HAAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA"

"So how do you plan to stop me then? Swing your puny weapons against the air? Besides, I have not done much harm, I have merely brought one of my sons home. That is something you should not be concerned with." The voice said.

Maple saw Jack in the air. She conjured another spear it materializing in her hoof She hacked away at the tentacles. "If He was really your son you would have raised him. He wouldn't have left in the first place. You are evil and I won't stand to let you torment equestria or Jack any longer." She caught Jack after getting rid of all of tentacles held him tight and stormed off away from Apographa.

Jack was in some sort of trance, he would occasionally mumble random words but they had no meaning, and his pupils were gone.

He was semi-consciousness, but the trance was holding him into some sort of state where he was not aware of his surroundings.
