Ember saw the look on Jack's face and knelt down beside him "Kid... are you alright? Seems like you're really worried about something and it's not Festus either... I think we're safe for now so we have time to talk about whatever it is your feeling now but... I'm not too good at emotions, I'm mostly just, Let's go fight and if we fight we win. But I'll try to understand what your concer is. What exactly's in that box?"

"I am not sure if I am alright, I have been experiencing some rather disturbing things since I came here, talking voices in my head, and perhaps even deep signs of paranoia, I think. I am not in the best terms of such places in the first place. But I actually was aware of these inhibitors being here since a pretty long time when someone told me. But what is in these inhibitors is something that sounds pretty ridiculous but... its the pure DNA of my mentor stored in these things, I have been wanting to get these for a very long time because he was the only one who really understood me."

"I have always been used to be fighting around those who had a similar situation as me. But then I met you guys and seeing everyone care so much about each other for other having a pretty long history or being family/friend related, but then i come into the picture, so person that has arrived 5 months ago but has no such relation or bond whatsoever, just forced to go along with it while i am being reminded of everything that has happened. Some may not realise it but I am not some 50-year-old veteran that can snap through combat like it's nothing. I am just 13 years old, and never had a proper family for a matter. Most still had some sort childhood, but i was already forced to vent for myself at the age of 6, and all i had was where some people i started to grow attached to, but I have started to learn that growing attached to anything means it will be alot harder once you lose those people, and i can't really deny that this is a forever occurring concept. But what is bothering me the most is that nobody here seems to realise that i am not some fighter that can bounce trough pain like it is nothing, i might not exactly cry alot during pain, but i have been stabbed, shot so many times, and recovered at that, i am getting tired of being treated like this. Some may hate to be treathed like a child, but i rather be treathed as one then some war hero, because i am not one."

"That makes sense to me. I mean I'm not sure how I feel about that, Dragon's are usually supposed to take a lot of injury in our youth and I was no exception to it. I think this place is really starting to get to you. That teleport's probably ready..." Ember said picking up Jack and the container "Personally this place is creeping me out too. It's making me think of what could have happened had I not become the ruler of the dragon lands... It's not very pretty... I... Know you don't care but still I can relate to the problem you seem to be having and thus I'd like us to get out of here." She explained quickly as she flew through the hole by the door.

"I actually do care, I am not one to only care about my own feelings. But i know you did a great job in changing the Dragon lands, i may not have been there to see the change, but i am familiar with these things, my father was an part diplomat after all, so he was actually involved in alot of these things. There used to be this race that actually has some really big similarities to your own race, we are all closer connect then most tend to believe, i guess its just the way you look at it." Jack admitted.

Ember smiled that he was calmer about the earlier outburst, possibly from Celestia agreeing to help other planets "Right perhaps there is a connection. I mean, I mostly had to make the dragons nicer because the dragons were getting themselves killed going after certain pony villages. When Maple had joined the guard she was the most dangerous pony to our kind possibly the reason they all started listening to me." She said smiling "You have no idea how much of a difference one person can make, even in a sea of others."

"Indeed, there have been some legendary individuals throughout history, whether it's this era or before, they do exist. Though I do wonder how this is all going to turn out. If we all unite our armies we could definitely make a  difference, but wiping out the root of all this tragedy is something i am not sure of. Because what i am afraid of is the final act. While in Equestria alot of strong indivuals are present, there is no one strong enough to clean out the source of this darkness, wich is something i just cannot shudder out of my toughts."

"I doubt that," Ember said as she walked up to the elevator and knocked on it lightly. "Perhaps there is no one to take out the darkness but together we can rid it of the universe once and for all. You, Me, Celestia, Luna and... " Ember frowned for a second. "Ya know... What are your thoughts on that pony we saved from here?" Festus opened the elevator as he recognized Ember's voice and Ember stepped in as she asked her question

"I honestly not sure what to think of her, while I don't like her attitude, there is something that really bothers me. She is a pony, yet it just doesn't make sense. She claims to have been here for 20 years, yet these very people who have captured her never even once set foot on Equestria before, so how could she be here for so long in the first place? I could only guess she somehow found a way to travel between planets, but if she had been able to do it, wouldn't it mean other ponies would have done it as well? It doesn't add up." Jack said with a tired voice.

When he was Festus he waved.

"Well, I heard earth ponies were inventors. So it is possible." Festus said waving back "Glad you guys are safe. Let's get back to the others now. What's in the box?" He asked looking at the box.

"Nothing that you should worry about. Jack's probably glad to have it though." Ember said before growling "I doubt she was hearing for 20 years she barely looks it. Probably just an exaggeration."

"But what if we were out here for several years though?" Festus said coming to a realization. "We don't know how much time has passed since we've been here what if they took that pony when we got taken and we have been here for several years..."

"Ember is probably right, if she truly has been here for 20 years then she would be so thin you could see her bones, due to the whole *no feeding prisoners* rule, or perhaps they have injected her with who knows what. Though that doesn't explain how she still looks so well fed, no amount of injections could fix that." Jack said.

"Though you don't have to worry Festus, time still passes the same as other planets, perhaps not in the exact hour, but the amount of day span is not far removed in that of Equestria's."

But then Jack realized something.

"But on the other hand... They could have put us in some sort of statis... i cannot begin to imagine what horrific thigns they have been doing to us while we were out cold, i have experienced their handy before. That actually leads me to the question, how did you and Celestia get captured Ember? Before i got unconscious i could only recall me, Festus and Fluttershy being captured." Jack asked her.

Ember looked a bit disappointed for a second. "We went to go after 3 to help you but when we got through the portal we were ambushed so we didn't stand a chance. What exactly did me and Celestia run into when we found this said portal. It was an odd sight some sorta sorcerer was there talking with that assassin we tried to fight him only for him to disappear into the portal. Care to explain a bit?"

"Hold on... Sorcerer? Assassin? There is something not right there."

"That Assassin would not close the deal with some sorcerer, this particular deal was bargained by Valtrek himself, she would only contact him regarding the closure."

"And from what you told me, I can only assume that Sorcerer was there to keep the portal open. The one who captured you must have been Valtrek, he has done this before, opening some sort of gateway and uses his powers to project his voice at the desired location, but he doesn't show his own face during those moments, but because of an open portal.. he manifest his powers straight into this realm, which could explain how he could actually over power you 2.  The only times he really shows his face is when he decides he is going to personally declare *genocide*, which in other words means he simply murders everything at that location, by any means necessary. He even destroys his own armies who a present at that location should he feel like it because in the end, all he cares for is the amount of destruction and deaths that have been caused in the end." Jack said.

"I am truly glad you guys are still alive though, it could have ended very bad for you 2. A single person might not sound so threatening, but at this point, he is no longer a person, but more a like an abomination of madness... Having to think about him tends to give me splitting headaches for some reason, but I could probably figure why."

Ember nodded "Something tells me he thought it would be 'interesting' to keep us alive but that's going to be his down fall." She said confidently as she carried Jack out of the elevator followed by Jack. She flew ways and landed by the teleporter, Festus following a ways behind.

Celestia and Fluttershy saw Ember come back Celestia sighed, relieved. "Good, you're back... I was getting very worried"

"And we got what I was looking for, it took a bit but we managed." Jack said.

"It looks like the teleporter is done warming up, so now all i have to do is press some buttons and we are ready to go, though I wonder how angry our *Interrogator* will be now that his new prisoners have escaped." Jack said, putting a large emphasis on Interrogator

The pony scoffed at Jack when he said, Interrogator. "More like tormentor. He just does what he wills thinking he the boss of everything in this stupid place." She growled,  "When I see him again..." She sighed "I bet he's hunting my son down as we speak... Can we just Keep going!"

Jack raised an eyebrow.

"Son? Could you perhaps explain to us why you are exactly being kept here? It seems rather suspicious that a pony is being kept here long before they found Equestria." Jack asked.

The pony was about to go into the teleporter but she stopped and sighed, "Since you want to know so badly My name is Star Wright, Lovingly wed to the one how you are trying to escape from."

"Why would you marry him if you hate him so much," Celestia asked.

"I was forced to... I figured it'd be obvious," Star said "I thought my son would make the situation more bearable but it didn't the interegator you speak of didn't even let me raise him he took him for a long time but after he found out the truth, My son, Windphaser, Left this place to find help but he never came back..."

"Your son is lucky to be out of this place, away from his father."

"This *father* of your son happens to be one of the cruel and evil people out there, being responsible for countless of civilians being murdered by his method of sneaking disguised with an armed escort, only to open fire on widely crowded area's, MULTIPLE times has this already happened."

'If Kiran was here, he would have given that interrogator the most painful death anyone could have imagined, especially given their former histories.' Jack thought bleakly.

"He went to go find help. So that way I wouldn't be killed when he came back. I only assume the worst for Windphaser though..." Star said bleakly "I've been here his whole life and he's 20 now and hasn't come back, so I can tell he forgot about me not like it matters I never wished for him to come back anyways."

Jack nodded.

"These are dangerous places, nowhere in the galaxy is safe these days, only-" Jack trailed a bit off as his eye lits were becoming heavy.

"-erm only the luckiest tend to survive in these dire times. But I am sure he is alright." Jack said with a tired voice.

He tried to blink a bit.

"Festus, why are there 3 of you..." Jack asked, but he was, in reality, suffering from hallucinations.

[Maple Bat 3,568]

"Means you're tired." Festus replied, "Go ahead and sleep..." Festus yawned "I think we're safer BEFORE we go into that teleporter." As Festus said he that he sat against a wall and fell asleep next to Fluttershy who was already laying on the floor.

Ember sighed "I got it. You go ahead and rest." Ember said closing the door. "They really have no idea where we are so it's ok to rest for now."

[MickeyAdaptus 2,211]

"I don't think I can sleep here at the moment, trying to sleep on this metal is not something I really want to attempt, so many nights having to lay on those caged rooms, which chains piercing into my arms and legs... Never in my moment would I want to experience that again... no more..."

"And then this... Cold... I am normally used to sleeping in such conditions but for now, i don't know.. We have no blankets, no cushions whatsoever, no food no water..." Jack said with a sigh, feeling just very bad.

"This just won't do..." Jack muttered, feeling pretty bad.

Star sighed "I agree though can someone else carry them? Celestia?"

"Oh, yes that would be no problem well I mean I can carry Fluttershy who really does need to sleep and Festus can get up he'll be ok for now..." Celestia said "But Jack you really do need a break you're only 13 so this much effort is extremely hard for you to put forth especially without food or something to drink... I fear that you may pass out in a more dangerous time than now imagine if that happened..."

"I agree, but I don't really know if i can get to sleep in this place, its rather cold, not to mention that i don't exactly have thick fur."

"And then comes the question if we will be safe long enough in this room, i couldn't bear to wake up after someone just threw a hand grenade straight into this room" Jack admitted with a bit of shivers.

"Let's hurry through the teleporter then." Celestia said before picking up Fluttershy, who was very calm because she was asleep now, with magic and carrying her over to it. "If we can get her out before she wakes up then she'll think it was all a bad dream."

Star seemed to have already gone through said teleporter while Ember was waking up Festus so he could fight if they needed to. Ember nodded that she was ready to leave and after a few seconds Festus was too.
