Celestia went over. "Don't worry Luna. I doubt anything happened to them. They'd fly anywhere they needed to go. They're probably Just looking for something to write with or on."

Luna smiled "Why do you say that sister?" She tilted her head a bit confused.

"If Maple died then who would keep me from being lazy?" Celestia joked "It sometimes seems like I just can't get rid of that thorn in my side. We'll just have to wait for now."

Elorn looked at her but then suddenly heard movement from the outer side of the door.

He gave her a *pretend dead* sign as he moved to the very corner of the room.

The door opened, and 2 armed soldiers with guns entered the room.

Elorn wasted no time as he quickly jumped on the second enemy and used him as a human shield, aiming its weapon straight at his other enemy, who was aiming his weapon back.

Elorn then opened fire, riddling the enemy with bullets, he proceeded by jabbing the enemy in the stomach while he stole his gun, and then knocked it out with the backside of his gun, only to fire more bullets straight into its body, killing it.

He then looked at Maple.

"It seems I just cooked up ourselves an exit!" he joked

Maple smiled "Great. She went over and examined the fallen weapons. "Great. I can't use this..." She said realizing how the mechanism works She dropped the weapon looking for some sort of bladed weapon she could use. A knife, A sword, She searched for anything like that. Eventually she did find a knife. She grabbed it with her teeth and nodded to elorn saying, throught gritted teeth to not drop the weapon. "Alright I'm ready. Let's keep going."

"Keep your eyes peeled, we might find something that is worth noting," Elorn said he started walking through the hallways.

he eventually found a room and quickly went on the side of the door.

He then gave a silence sign before pointing towards the room, asking to take a look.

The was an infected crature working a pony, but it looked horrendous, the pony's hoofs were replaced with small tentacles, its mane and tail had been removed, but the biggest change was its spine, changing it from a 4 legged stance to a 2 legged biped stance.

Maple had looked into the room and gagged seeing that pony(?). She almost threw up managing to keep her knife in her teeth by her hoof. This had been one of her first times seeing a infected pony and she wish she had never seen one "Uhh... That's not it" She whispered "Then again I have no idea what we're looking for so you go ahead and lead the way." She sounded confident enough though her speech sounded a bit weird since she was talking through a knife.

"It seems they are working a on new strain, i think they are working with the one you call *earth pony* am i correct?" Elorn asked

"That would explain why they are kidnapping your people instead of instantly killing them all, original bodies have become scarce after all." he said as he sneaked past by them.

Th.. That ponies alive. Maple thought, tightening her grip on the knife. She was about to attack but she hesitated. No point, I can barely use a weapon this small. She figured if they destroyed the place then she'd be doing more damage anyways She silently followed Elorn not really having much to say. Her expression said she was angered by everything that was happening. She began to wish that these things had never come in the first place but realized that was really selfish of her since the whole universe was at steak here.

"Try to keep a cool head, we cannot afford to make any mistakes, we are already outnumbered from 2 to around 80.000 or more, who knows how many units they store in this place" Elorn calmly said as he scanned the hallways, making sure nothing was ambushing them.

"I think we should head to that Temple now, they will probably be going to their new objective while we go to ours." Jack said.

Maple flinched "Oh... Celestia" She whispered. "Don't worry I'm right behind you." She kept looking around for anything that could see them. Ponies or guards.

Luna looked at him "Probably for the best." She said picking up her gear, "Hope she writes back soon..."

Ember and the others gathered their things as well. Ember packing her weapons into her Bag practically stuffing them in there.

Flurry was about to go get her stuff when Shining came over to her he was nervously messing his mane. "Flurry are you sure you want to go with them? It's going to be extremely dangerous. If we lost you..."

"Don't worry dad! I'll be perfectly fine with this group they wouldn't let me get too hurt. Right?"

Luna Nodded "Of course you are royalty anyways. We needn't let any harm befoul you!" She said happily.

Jack checked his feet and legs.

"Not sure if they are working again, but the paralysing feeling seems to be gone, so i guess i will just have to deal with it." he said as he stood up.

"Well, i guess this confirms it?" he said

[Maple Bat 3,568]

Flurry bounced up and down. "So that means I did good with the healing spell. Oh! That's great I;m so happy now! Be back real quick with my stuff then we can go!" She flew off heading to the castle.

Shining smiled awkwardly at Luna still messing with his mane, "Sorry about her she's still really excitable. Even though she's 20."

Luna, humored, said "Fear not for We remember our own childhood and we behaved exactly like that."

Jack had been silent the entire time, before walking up ahead.

He looked in the distance.

'Some of them having acting like this entire war is even that big of a deal, especially Luna. It is giving me the feeling i will have to handle things myself later on, if they fail to see the danger of the entire situation, then it will be me who takes up the arms. They might not care, but i am not going to fail Kiran." he tought

Luna had  begun to worry that her carefree attitude was misproven She figured Maple was alright but now... "Sister? Any news from the siblings Maple and Woody?"

Celestia looked up. "No. Why do you keep coming back so often?" She asked annoyed of these 'visits'

"I'm just worried about them..." She sighed "Perhaps Jack was rigth I sent them to their graves." A message appeared in front of Celestia. it was Luna's letter torn up. After tehy examinded it they saw it said 

'We're ok -Woody'

Celestia and Luna both sighed and luna ran over to the group "They're ok everypony. Maple and Woody. That's all we know for now..." she said a bit darkened

"We should get a move on guys, every moment we spend something bad can happen, believe me, we have given the enemy already a really big edge with letting them have their way for so long." Jack said.

"Perhaps we should try to fly as close to the Temple as possible? That should be the fastest way." he suggested

Flurry hurried back with her things as jack said they should fly there. "S... Sounds good." She said tired of running. "I'll follow you guys where we are going! Though Jack? How are you going to fly?" Luna picked up Jack setting him on her back. Flurry realized "Oh. Duh!"

Celestia looked at Ember as she put on her bag "Ready Princess Ember?" She had asked her.

"Yea just give me a second." She pulled out the sword that the artifact had enchanted and brought the weapon over to Jack, "Here ya go kid. Something to protect yourself with." She said half-looking at him, Trying to make it seem as if she didn't care. But she did. After That the group took off heading to that temple.

"Thanks." he said to Ember.

"Once we are done with the Temple, I know what i will be doing, i am going  to be looking for one of those tunnels that they carved out, because if i am correct, that could lead me straight into one of their main towers."

"Tough i honestly prefer to do that last part alone. Because it is going to be heavily defended."

"And risk your death right after we fixed you?" Ember said gliding next to Luna "No way kid. More fighting power with more of us there..." She looked over at Flurry "Perhaps she could stay behind though. She's not too trained in any sort of combat situations."

Luna looked at Ember "Agreed. Flurry probably should stay somewhere safe until that's over but she could be useful later on in case something goes downhill she can be ready to aid us. Got any ideas?"

"It's hard to say, I doubt we will face anything inside the temple, but the chance is very likely we will face heavy resistance while on our way there, the enemy got a foothold around many places, especially since they create tunnels that are leading straight through a lot of places," Jack said.

"But this is especially going to be troublesome since they are not affected by weather or climates, they can walk through the most extreme colds while we would get slow down by the coldness, perhaps even snowstorms if they happen to occur." he said.

"We keep a low profile and move quickly we should be able to get to it with out any conflict" Ember said "And hey tell you what you and Luna can keep going to get to the temple while the rest of us draw fire."

Luna considered her options thinking deeply on the matter. "I don't know. there's a good chance of you dieing engaging them alone but the plan sounds good since the power of the temple is a huge turn for us..."

"I don't know either, I have been eager to go in combat for a while, and I think  Mehriel will have a better chance guiding you to the temple instead of me." Jack said while scratching his chin.

"How about Luna and Flurryheart head towards the Temple while we draw their draw their fire, we will catch up later once we managed to slow em down enough." Jack suggested

Ember nodded taking Jack "Sounds good. Meet you two there. Celestia! We're attacking them!" She shouted as she descended heading to the ground so the enemy would see. them first.

Celestia flew closer to Ember. "So why are we doing this then?" she asked curiously. "Why are Luna and flurry not joining?"

"They're gonna go get to the Temple." Ember said summarizing it. "We'll distract for them."

"I a small pack of infected on the ground, it may not be alot, around 25 i think, but once we dispose of them there should be more coming, i am sure of it!" Jack said trough the rurshing wind as they descended.

[Maple Bat 3,568]

"Very well we attack when we see them." Celestia said flying forward. "Don't strike till he's on the ground." She said pointing at Jack.

Ember rolled her eyes don't worry. I won't just drop him." She pretended to let go. "Oops" She said sarcasticly. Catching him as quickly as she had let go.

Luna nodded to Flurry and the two left to go find the temple hoping that Jack didn't need to be there, If he did then leaving him with Ember was a mistake.

Jack got surprised when Ember dropped him for a second there.

'That was rather sudden.' he thought

"We could take them out from the air as of now they have no ranged weaponry, but we could also take them from the ground, the choice is to you 2!" he said.

Celestia Looked at ember. "Air sounds good to me."

Ember nodded, "Here catch." She said tossing jack into the air getting her bow and quiver of arrows out of her bag.

As soon as Jack left Embers arms Celestia started to levitate him "That was extremely irresponsible. Don't do that again!" She sounded serious and commanding.

"Alright geez." Ember said while stringing the Long bow "I knew you'd catch him you know I wasn't just being reckless."
