Woody frowned he didn't learn what he wanted to know "Well I'm going to at least do this planet on my o-"

Maple hit Woody in the side of the head knocking him out effectively "Sorry... He wasn't going to listen to reason so I decided to use force. Evelyn can you carry him?"

"Yea, It'd be easy as long as you make sure Jack doesn't fall we should be good," Evelyn said lifting the young dragonequus. "Let's head back to the city." She nodded starting to fly off followed immediately by Maple.

When they were the air, Jack rubbed his head.

"Sometimes I just don't understand Woody, On certain occasions, he accuses me of things, but in other moments he ask for my help or advice, but when I give him an answer, he sometimes tends to get angry or just unsatisfied with my answer, when we came to rescue him, I had hoped he would show some gratitude, but instead he was about to leave us all unless I was able to come up with something proper, like he would only be satisfied on my word alone! If anybody wants advice, I am ok in the subject of most things, but when it comes to emotional ones? I should be the last person to be asked for advice or help for that." Jack said with a sigh.

"I am sorry if I am talking bad about him Maple, but Woody's behaviour is going out of control whenever i am near him, when we get back i don't want to be near him for a while, i have to worry about enough things and I just don't have room for these never-ending accusations that are being thrown towards me. Call me a coward but i have had enough, its one of the reasons why i have never been in many groups because in the end tension will always rise."

"If any of you want to scold me on my talking, just please do it now and get it over with..." he said with a deeper sigh

Maple nodded to him, "He has been weird lately, But not like a changeling weird... You did save his life so if he's not going to show gratitude then I'll show it for him. He's a dragonequus though anything and/or everything he does isn't supposed to make sense. I guess." Maple looked him confused "Though why would I scold you? I agree with you that he's been outta hand on this. If it helps I don't blame you for anything neither does Luna, 'Tia, Ember, that Festus character, Nor even Fluttershy. Woody's just stressed I think... So don't take his words too seriously he's speaking without thinking... Possibly trying to cut ties with everyone so no one would follow him. I know he crossed a line and went way far but he's not acting appropriately so please just... Forgive him... If not for his sake... For mine and Fluttershy's." Maple pleaded. If she could cry this would be when she would be, all of this talk of her brother... Possibly about a permanent change in how he acted. "Whatever you don't have to forgive him... Let's just get ready to save mom and then once we do Woody can go home..."

"I guess i forgive him, but i just don't want to be near him for a while, i know he can't really do much about it, but that doesn't change the fact how severe it can end up. But i guess that is not the only bad thing that i have to mention. I have been thinking hard and long, and since we are trying to save Fluttershy, it has been left me thinking... After we save her when you guys go back to Equestria, i will have to part ways with you guys for at least a while until i return... It's about Cyril, I have been talking about it for so many times, planning on going there, but there have been so many instances where it had to be delayed, but the longer this goes on, the worse the situation is becoming, i am not even sure if my older friends are now still alive from all the time i spend defending Equestria. Some might consider this an ill decision, but, with how important it is to save Fluttershy, to me its the same amount of importance to saving my friends, i even started to consider them family back then, but to turn my back on them like they are a bunch of throwaways? Never, i rather die than leave them like that for much longer, i have been trough to much with them that i am going to sit on the sidelines while they could be killed at this very moment." Jack said to them both.

"Well... If that's the case. I'm going with you to Cyril. It's settled because I owe you my life... I don't want you to dying to try to protect those friends of yours so I'm going with you." Maple glared "And it's settled there's no talking me out of this." Maple flew a bit ahead of Evelyn, Marking the end of the conversation

"Not sure if she's doing something good." Evelyn began "Going with you somewhere you could get hurt to make sure you're ok... Bu not leaving you a choice. That's a bit rude."

There was a strange energy that starts emanating from Woody, Something that felt to Jack like it came from the demon realm.

"She means it well, and to be honest i do actually appreciate it, because it shows she really does care because i know for a fact that once i return to Cyril, i will be fighting to the edge of my life. Which does lead me to a question, are you planning on coming with me? I really understand if you say no, the last thing i want to do is condemn others because of my own problems, but.. i guess i would be forever thankful if you would come along." Jack said as he looked down.

Evelyn considered it. "I... I'll think about it and give you an answer before you leave. I do have problems to take care of here but I do like the bat pony even though she's a bit reckless." She said with t upbeat attitude "Though don't expect many to go with us if I don't go it might just be you and her. I'll jump in for sure if it's that."

The group landed in the city Maple took Woody to go find the other equestrians. "I need to talk with them about his behavior."

Evelyn looked at Jack "So what should we do now? Follow her?"

"Alright." He said

He then looked around a bit, before they landed in the city.

"And yes, that might best,i just hope it will end up well. After everything that has happenend today, i just don't know how much pressure i can take." Jack admitted

Evelyn nodded and started to follow Maple She spoke to Jack through her mind. 'Ya know we make a good team you and I. You handled the shooting well!"

Maple eventually made it to the Equestrians "Well... Woody's broke." Maple said to Celestia. "Can you look at him with your magic."

The white alicorn was busy witting things plans, strategy, stuff of the like "Maple I'm very bu-" Celestia started

"Please Celestia..." Maple finally used her full name. 

"Th... This must be bad." Celestia said "Set him down and I'll get right on it." Maple set Woody down immediately and Celestia started to look at him carefully.

'Thanks and I agree, we might perform even better on that mission soon, speaking of which, after we are done here we should probably both rest up a bit, it hasn't been long since we just returned from those ruins.' Jack thought back with a smile.

As they came there Jack quickly spoke up.

"Celestia, please be careful tough, near his eye there are still dark energies near it present from the injury." Jack warned her.

"That... Might explain his odd behavior," Maple said "Celestia you have experince in dark energy could you get it out of him?"

"I mean I could certainly try but it will take me a lot of time to remember that sort of Magic." Celestia answer modestly. "You all can leave if you like but He'll be safe."

Maple looked at Evelyn "Let's go train some."

"Actually can i join with that training as well? I haven't trained in a pretty long time, and its not exactly the best thing if i have to train via fighting real enemies all the time. And besides, i have to fight again in a few hours, so why not?" Jack asked Maple with a smile.

Maple nodded "Alright! But can we avoid the sue of guns. I know it won't hurt me but I don't want to need to go get repaired again." She laughed nervously.

Evelyn laughed nervously too "Yea guns would be a big issue but we can train in other things at the same time." She nodded to him "Light nondamaging magic would be a good replacement since we don't want to get hurt."

Celestia started to use magic her horn started to bubble with a black substance. "Ugh... I can't-do it... not yet at least."

"Actually, I know of a method of training where you can fight against anything, and do it just the way you want. You could say it's similar to an actual simulation, only this is in a subconscious, as in, its similar as a dream, only here you can feel real pain and everything happens in real time. But you can still control like a dream, or at least, the host can, this is a perfect way to train as you can fight against enemies that are thought up. Want to try it out?" Jack asked them with a smile.

Both Maple and Evelyn said the same thing "That sounds awesome Let's do it!"

Maple also added to what she said saying "Jack you can control what me and Eveyln fight too so give it your best to try to beat us. Though don't kill either of us on that" Maple relesed a hearty laugh after saying that "Let's go do it!"

"Don't worry, you can't really die, heck, if things go good, I will join you guys in the training as well!" Jack said with a smile.

He grabbed the artefact and set it on the ground.

"Alright, now both close your eyes and relax your minds, our bodies will still be here, our conscious are the things that move into that simulation thing." Jack said as he started to do the same, he closed his eyes and started breathing deep in and out until he had a calm mind.

Evelyn nodded and obliged. Maple, on the other hand, was hesitant. "You sure we can't die? I just want to be sure and all since I want to see mom again."

Celestia was finally getting what she trying to do to work. Green energy was being removed from all throughout Woody's body. Celestia was taking quite the tole from it through her eyes seemed empty as she was doing this.

"Don't worry Maple, I may be sometimes hesitant about things, but my own father had shown me this method before, you can't die there, because even should it happen by some freak mystery, you would not really die, you would just wake up." Jack said as while he was keeping his eyes closed.

After a few minutes, their consciousnesses shifted and they all appeared in some sort of white void.

Jack was the first to stand up, and was inspecting his hands a bit.

"Still works like i remember it to." Jack said to himself as he was moving his muscles a bit.

"Now lets see if my powers work to properly.."

he suddenly shot a magical blast straight out his hands and fired it at the ground, creating a small quake.

"Good, good..." he muttered.

Maple nodded to Jack "I'm ready when you just go ahead and create some enemies for us I don't care what it is."

Evelyn was confused "Well... Whatever I'm ready too so bring it on! We can take whatever you've got!"

"Alright, i am gonna stand on the sidelines, but il join in too soon." Jack said.

he was thinking.

"I guess we should start commonly infected as a beginning? I am curious how you 2 will handle this type of situation." Jack said.

He spawned in about 40 infected.

"I guess this should be an enough number for you 2. Anyway, let's start!" He said as the infected started charging them.

[Maple Bat 3,568]

"That's enough?" Maple said. "Gimme like 3 minutes and all of them will be gone." Maple dashed at them and quickly slashed a group of them killing 4.

Evelyn smiled and followed her smashing the 'ground' knocking a few of them into the air and Maple attacked them in a whirlwind. "Hey, those were mine!"

Maple shrugged and dashed avoiding an infected's strike. "Wait... Can we get infected by these?"

"Normally yes, but i disabled the infection for this simulation, can never be too sure." Jack said.

He then noticed Maple starting to steal Evelyn's kills.

"Don't worry, i will fix that." He said with a smile as he spawned 20 more infected a bit closer to Evelyn's direction.

"You are very welcome."

[Maple Bat 3,568]

"Well thanks!" Evelyn used her ice to form a large log she kicked it into the infected crushing a lot of them.

Maple grabbed the log and spun around with it tossing it into another group "Well that was a nICE combo" Maple laughed at her own terrible pun.

"Wow. That was the worst." Evelyn sighed.

"ehh, yeah I have to agree with her on that one." Jack said.

He was thinking for a moment.

"Perhaps we should a make it a real big challange. How about 150 infected and i join in?" Jack suggested

[Maple Bat 3,568]

"Sounds like a challenge... But fun!" Evelyn said "Bring it on I could use the challenge," she said taking out a few more infected. "We don't need help just yet but more to fight would be fine."

"Jeez tough crowd," Maple said "Well I agree with Evelyn. It's not exactly hard taking down these enemies."

Celestia had finally managed to separate the magic from Woody but to her dismay, the magic stayed Woodys form and got up. Before entering the scape of which Jack and the others were in.
