Can Thorax successfully break your NoTP?

There's ships you don't like, and then there's that one you absolutely can't stand. Whatever it is, it's become a real thing, and Thorax doesn't like it either. So he decides to help break up your NoTP by impersonating one or both of the ponies (or non-ponies) in the relationship, and doing things to make them get pissed at each other and leave. He can make out with some other pony while taking their form, act mean to their faces, write dumping letters, etc.

But can it work? Are the two individuals in the NoTP easily tricked, or would they see through it?

And in case your NoTP involves Thorax himself (ex: with Spike), then another changeling can impersonate HIM to cause the break up.

I don't think Thorax would do something like that. Either way, Fluttermac.

Big Mac would problably notice Fluttershy's uncommon behavior, though Fluttershy is a whole other story. Her feelings would easily be crushed, though she would problably think something is off too, since Big Mac isn't much of a talker. I feel terrible writing this.
