What if: Applejack having to lead a rescue operation?

This is an episode idea of mine that just popped up recently, especially with the recent wildfires of Southern California.  What if Applejack volunteers to lead a rescue operation to save Ponies from a natural disaster?

My ideal title "Hero of a Apple Tree."

When an earthquake levels Starlight's village, Starlight, Applejack, Big Mac and Sugar Belle lead a rescue operation to save everyone from the leveled buildings and help them rebuild their lives.

A majority of the focus would be on Applejack and Sugar Belle.  While Starlight helps comfort the rescued ponies and Big Mac helps move the debris out of way, Applejack and Sugar Belle would work together in pulling out pony after pony from the wreckage.  During the event, the two form a sisterly bond together, finding that they have a lot in common when it comes to

a: A Love of hard work

b: A love of freshly-made pastries

c: A dedication to help out others in need

In the end, the village is destroyed, but all ponies have been rescued.  Applejack is more than happy to refer to Sugar Belle as a sister in-law as she is proud of Big Macintosh as well.  Starlight felt sorry for what everyone else is going through, and Applejack does what she can to comfort Starlight and the other ponies.  But despite the loss, everyone picks up the pieces and begins anew.  Bonds grow stronger than ever.

 

Your thoughts about this?  Applejack rescuing ponies from a natural disaster?  Even forming a closer bond with Sugar Belle.
