What would happen if these cosmic events occurred simultaneously in Equestria?

In MLP FiM IDW comic #1-4 and #48-50, there are two very different celestial phenomenon occurring.  One being the passing of the Secretariat comet, which is able to provide exponential boosts of magic surges to magical creatures like Twilight and Chrysalis for a while; the other being a once in a lifetime Celestial Convergence Conjunction, which is multiple celestial bodies in linear alignment and causing strange magical occurrences to happen, like being partially what caused Discord to change into Accord. What might happen if these two events were to occur simultaneously in the series?
