Games of the year 2018

For the last 1/2 year I was involved in US gaming market research. Wanna share our top-3 video games that Americans played most in 2018 (so far, according to thrillist and casinobonusesfinder https://casinobonusesfinder.com/online-casinos/):

#1. Celeste - "Playing as Madeline, determined to summit the mountain Celeste, your pixelated character dashes, wall jumps, and climbs through the levels of the pseudo-haunted pastel 2D world, fighting the physical embodiment of her self-doubt, on her difficult, introspective journey to self-actualization." © thrillist 

#2. God of War - "realistic simulator with a Northen and Scabdinavian thematics. The level of immersion detracts from its  minor flaws" © casinobonusesfinder

#3. Marvel’s Spider-Man - "Spider-Man is a collectathon hidden inside of a modern beat-’em-up that’s overrun with bad guys, and while it’s not exactly torn from the pages of Dan Slott or Nick Spencer, it builds on its own character designs to get you where it hurts." © thrillist

Never tried any of those. The games I have played varied from meh/disappointing to utter trash.

I don't have a top game but I have a ton of contenders

God of War
Spiderman
Yakuza 6
Yakuza Kiwami 2
Fist of the North Star Lost Paradise
Megaman 11
Octopath Traveler
Valkyria Chronicles 4

 

That's not to mention some of the games I haven't gotten to try yet like Dead Cells, DBZ FigherZ, MHW, and games that still need to come out like Smash

I already know my choice, because most of the other choices have not impressed me. That choice being Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
