G1 ponies in G4 situations and vice versa.

If the G1 ponies had to deal with the situations of their G4 counterparts or vice versa do you think either or both groups could succeed or no?

 

Now to clarify they get NO help from the other group they handle it solo so we are NOT talking cross over but something like Megan and friends handling Chrysalis or Twilight handling the evil flower giants or original snooze etc.

Gusty (the great) would single-handedly take out any villains from G4. And of course there are other ponies in G1 with almost equal potential. It is from a defunct generation, so it is not up to par with G4, but they would grew quickly and adopt!

the G1 ponies were not sole operatives. They were a collective and were also aided by immensely powerful magical artifacts that eclipsed the power of any individual

I feel that FiM reached a similar conclusion with different, and much more satisfying, means.

So the answer of who is most bad-flank: G1 or G4 is...?
