Filly Funtasia: a cheap rip-off or something more?

The other day I randomly remembered that weird ‘Mlp rip off’ that g5 got compared to. I decided to look into it, and turns out that Filly Funtasia actually has a small but dedicated fanbase and people willing to defend it’s place in the pony hall of fame.
