10 years since the first EQG movie's release date

I didn't get into Equestria Girls until late 2015 (like with the MLP franchise as a whole), but I feel old knowing the song that introduced me to the series is from a movie that was released a decade ago.

In my opinion, the first Equestria Girls movie wasn't great, but from the second movie onward, the series really took off and became something amazing. Seeing humanized versions of familiar characters in a new setting was really interesting, and I wish they could have explored the human world further.  Happy 10th anniversary, Equestria Girls - can't believe it's been a decade already.
