MLP Forums Clubs Guidelines

Greetings, everypony! 

As I informed in my initial announcement post there will be guidelines that put a little bit of order into chaos, specifically to our new feature, that is Clubs! Guidelines are, as follows:

 

MLP Forums club section guidelines:

1. Clubs on MLP Forums have one purpose - to help our fellow members socialize and have fun together.

2. MLP Forums guidelines apply to activity in clubs.

3. Every club will have its leader. By default club's leader will be the club's creator.

• The leader will have moderating powers in their club. They'll be able to hide or edit activity in there as well as to add or remove members of the club.
• One member of MLP Forums can be a leader in multiple clubs
• The leader can hire moderators for club. In such case they are to inform MLP Forums staff, so that club's moderators receive proper permissions. 
• The leader is expected to be active on the forums. If they remain inactive for 2 months without informing of planned break, then MLP Forums can replace them by choosing a new one from among members of the club
• The leader is expected to make sure all activity in the club meets MLP Forums guidelines. MLP Forums moderation is permitted to intervene in cases of power abuse or otherwise harmful actions within clubs. 

4. Clubs are allowed to have their own rules, however these must be in line with MLP Forums guidelines. For example:

• What is permitted in club rules: All members of our club are to deliver one cute pony art per week
• What is not permitted in club rules: In this club we allow +18 content
• As an exception to our policy regarding sensitive, ideological, religious and political discussions, private club called "Twilight's Soapbox" permits discussions about said topics (more details soon)
