As GS was about to fall to his slumber. An octopus like contraption, the size of a full grown stallion appeared above the ceiling.

One of its tentacles began to stab an artifact on GS's chest then went into camouflage mode and apparently ran off somewhere.

Monsoon would've reacted but a second octopus robot would hinder his, by being wrapped by its robotic tentacles. That said robot would quickly release Monsoon as the deed was done and began to flee as well.

( The artifact's effect is out of my hands as a rule to how my artifacts work is not within my right, but with yours; in other words, it's up to you what the artifact would do to GS)

*Shrapnel heard the clank of the metal, and immediately destroyed the machine before it could do anything.*

"It seems we are not alone out here." *He said to the tall being, who picked up the robot, and disintegrated it.*

"Stay on your guard. Who knows what else is out here."

Zapping the robot also overcharged the artifact which was supposed to do something to GS. But now that that happened. Who knows? It might've awakened something in GS and properly revived him.

The octopus would then short circuit and fall to the side and would screech as its final farewell. A puff of smoke comes out, and the machine is out.

 

*Shrapnel*

The artifact that the octopus hold fell to the ground and rolled over to them, while the bot disintegrated without a fuss.

The artifact glowed with a bright blue light then slowly changed its color adapting to the one near it.

 

Meanwhile somewhere in a laboratory.

One of the machines radar blimp suddenly vanished.

" ...Hmm, one of my machines has been violently been tampered... Usually ponies go with a much more curious and friendly approach... Perhaps i should cross those out as villains?... More investigation is required." He then pushed a red button.

*Monsoon waddled carefully over to the smoldering machine, He gently pulled the artifact out of it. It was vibrating and looked like it would explode at any moment. He gave it a tiny jolt, and it stopped vibrating and calmed down.* oO(Let's see what this puppy can do then I guess)

*Shrapnel picked up the artifact. It seemed to be trying to math the shape and design of the phantom ruby.*

(Well this has gotten interesting.)

The artifact has done what it has been willed.

And Aligner continues his work as he worries what might have caused his experimental machines to be attacked.

He rushes his work on improving his machines.

" Hmm. I guess i should increase it's resistance from overheating and short circuiting. Probably have a larger back up battery source and the ability to drain magic.. probably place a solar panel as well? No they usually crawl underground, and sunbathing can make them vulnerable targets..."

He began creating his machine and placed two artifacts in which it added 2 ( unknown for now, what would its functions be please.) functions.

He tested it out and see what it does.
