*Chryssi gently placed her horn inside the wound, as a bright light began to glow from it. Two minutes later, and she had pulled out the glitchy substance which hung like goop on her horn. She then teleported in a jar, and placed the glitch goop in the jar.*

"So, is there a uh, reason to why you're so tired. And why it took you 4 days to get back from what was supposed to be 2 days?"

So if you go on peaceful terms you should be fine. But Shrapnel probably has the straightest answer, since he witnessed it's creation."

I'll do anything you want for mercy, ANYTHING!!!"

*Shrapnel lowered his hands finally, faced the group, and told his tale.* "The Phantom Ruby's true origin is not of this world. It was a scheme devised by the one and only, Doctor Eggman. He wanted to break reality using computer-like glitches, and started construction. Eventually putting the final version, into the chest of Infinite the Jackal. Cataclysmor heard of this, and wanted to create his own. So he did, but its location is unknown, even to me. There were a total of 20 prototypes and all but one were to be destroyed. The one being for me. Unfortunately, I made an error, and there was one leftover ruby, which now resides with Slipstream. They are curious objects, only being able to be used by the DNA of the one who triggered them. Which is why no one else can use mine, or Slipstream's. The power it has is unlimited. Many artifacts will have an external power source, but this thing IS the power source. It can break, tear, shatter, flip, and even rewrite reality. The only downside, is sometimes, exposure to it can be gravely hazardous. Trust me. I've seen glitch zombies, it isn't pretty. You were corrupted by it, and lingering goop cause you go haywire. Now that it's gone, you should be fine, only mildly mentally disoriented. Since my ruby and Slipstream's are prototypes, they are much more unstable than the one Infinite has, but they still have the same power. The prototypes also look thr same, but Infinite's is a triangle, compared to our Decagon-like shaped Ruby's. As long as you're clean from the glitch goop, you should be fine. Oh yes, I almost forgot. The ruby runs on fear. The more afraid someone is, the powerful it's illusions can get. It doesn't run off the users fear however, it runs on the fear of others. There was once a time, where there was so much fear in an area, that infinite made the illusion, that the sun was going to crash into the planet. And while it was just an illusion, the "sun" still was going to kill the either way. But, that's all there is about it."
