One of the things Tell Your Tale has going for it is the building up to Pipp and Zipp becoming Misty’s stepsisters

This one was a swing and a hit! Had a very good, touching message about dealing with disappointment and focusing on what matters! I've definitely been where Misty's been before, so what the episode was trying to say resonated with me well. I also really like what they're building to with Misty becoming the stepsister of Pipp and Zipp.

TYT continues to cook with these slice of life episodes. Alphabittle and Queen Haven are such a cute couple, and it’s awesome seeing Misty making up for lost family time even if it didn’t go how she expected. All felt very in character for her. Also, the bullfrogs were really cute, the fact that the big one literally has bull horns is a funny touch. Man do I wish these episodes were longer, though. Especially since I’m rewatching season 7 of FiM right now, I really notice the short runtime in comparison.

Glad to finally see Queen Raven and Alphabittle having a role again, even thought it was very small and Raven barely said something, but I still liked it, and I'm glad to see different animals too, was really sick of seeing the same damn annoying hybrids again and again, the Monster Frog was cool, liked seeing Cloudpuff again too. 

Honestly, this episode and the previous one just made me think that it feels like G5 is pretty much in a Peaceful World era, looks like that after so much trouble that happened between the races in A New Generation and Make Your Mark, and the Opaline stuff, the Ponekind apparently achieved the ultimate peace and harmony (seen when Opaline is defeated, which only happens because the Together Tree was overpowered by the positive energy of everyone)

Which is the complete opposite of G4, during Twilight's era, even when there wasn't a villain attacking (or a two-parter episode happening), there was still conflict, chaotic stuff and danger happening, with even the main cast oftenly causing trouble.

That isn't happening in current G5 at all, everyone is happy and there isn't any conflict going on, other races such as the Dragons are very friendly, unlike how it was in G4 where they took Seasons to become somehow friends with the pones.

And the only “villain” around isn't showing any kind of threat or danger at all, so the G5 world is basically now paradise with absolute no conflicts or threats going on, which pretty much makes it be just like G3 (if what I've seen people saying about that generation is true of course, I haven't seen it yet)

I think I got it now, even though I don't like this concept personally, I like to see conflicts, crazy scenarios, this just makes the show way too girly and uninteresting to me, but I understand and I accept it if that's the purpose, specially because it's in line with TyT's original concept, that's why I think they shouldn't try to tell big stories in this show, it's just not necessary, if there isn't a big story to tell, then focus on these slice of life stories, just do it the way it was meant to, I'm sure many people who complain about G5 would understand that, they would understand that Make Your Mark was the "end".

Thanks for posting these videos it's actually a little hard to keep track of them on Youtube.

Taking a "family vacation" together and saying "We might be sisters someday" makes it seem they're building to an Alphaven wedding. I hope they save that for the tv series (if it comes) because this event, Misty getting stepsisters and whatever adjustments that would mean should not be something covered in as little as 5mins.

Also, could you imagine if there was a forest fire in a cracklewood forest?

I also feel like the visual quality of the series has improved somewhat, though the point that always detracts me from these is the cliche ending where the cutie marks glow and some sort of problem is solved quickly. I did really like this episode though - some interesting critter and plant lore.
