New Updates To The Site: What's Coming up!

Hello there, my little ponies!

Today is my 10th forumversary! So I am feeling very inspired or making some changes to the site in honor of you -- the people who make this place a treasured gem to make friends and build an honorable community. 

This is why some updates are needed!

What's coming up! 

- Updated Guidelines!

Presently, moderation, users and administration are discussing ways for the Guidelines to be upgraded and improved for easier experiences on the forums.

- Retired Staff Rank 

This rank has been posing a glitch towards those who have received it post 2023. It may be temporarily or permanently removed for those users.

- User Feedback/Report Thread

As I had mentioned in my blog post for my 10th forumversary, I may not be as active in the front anymore as I once was. This means now more than ever I should arrange a way for users to feel heard. My inbox gets too easily flooded. So, what do you do when admins are busy? Support tickets are loaded up and admins are too busy managing the site while balancing their own personal lives to get back to you? 

Create a thread which will be invisible to everyone except you and the proper staff who can assist your specific issue. In the past, we had issues with users struggling to seek help but no staff being available to assist. This new section should assist with that.

Once the feedback section is created, when should you make a thread in there?

- See an inappropriate profile but there's no report button? Make a thread and link the profile.
- User is harassing you or otherwise making you feel uncomfortable but admin's inbox are too loaded for them to see it? Make a thread about it.
- Site is glitching and support tickets are being slow? Make a thread about it.
- Feeling lonely and want a staffer to say hi? Make a thread about it. 
- Someone posted something that you feel is a jab about G5 and you feel there is a lack of support to G5? Make a thread about it
- Have any interesting ideas but feel too shy to share and don't know which admin or moderator to even reach out to? Make a thread about it and the proper staffer will reach out accordingly.

A lot of users either feel shy, or unheard or are too scared to make public threads. So this new system will allow even the shyest of members to make any and all reports or share any feedback or ideas they might otherwise just keep to themselves.

Update on the Retired Staff rank:

1. Glitch has been fixed thanks to our tech ponies at hand!
2. Based on discussions regarding the rank, those who have actively performed their tasks for +2 years are qualified for it.
3. New image associated with the rank thanks to @Treeglow Flicker  -- yet again. 
4. Apple green color to honor the zesty color of granny smith apples!
