Titanium gulps audibly as she follows Moonlights gaze to the ground, she falls silent, wondering what to say or do, she wishes she could break the silence, remove the awkwardness, but she can't find her words. She tries to speak, but chokes on her words. "I... Well... I mean... I... I don't... That is... I do..." Her flustered face flashes with annoyance as she cannot get the words out. After much effort, she finally blurts out almost too fast to make out "OkFineILikeYouTooYourDumbFaceIsCuteAndThatRiverThingWasAdorableButIDon'tKnowHowToSayIt!" She covers her mouth with her hoof the second she finishes her sentence, realising she said far too much.

She wanted to break the tension with warmth and welcome. The awkward silence being shattered with sudden enthusiasm: 

 

“Isn’t that the most romantic thing you’ve ever heard!” Looking between Titanium and Moonight.
 

“Titanium with the cute lake memory and Moonlight… with the cute stupid face…” her voice would falter here as she mentally registered them but she would proceed.

”It reminds me of my beloved darling, as well. He has such a cute stupid face, too! So clearly, this is meant to be!” She’d nod once with affirmation before giggling.

 

Suddenly, the levity would make way to a more quiet, serious tone.

“Honestly, it’s been all over the enegy when I check up on my friends. So I simply had to find out because consistently that was the most recurring thing.” 
 

“You know… I almost lost my chance at love by never speaking how I truly felt.” She’d lightly blush to the memory. “And it’s no different than having a friend but you get to enjoy your time together more often since you’re each other’s special somepony and you get to have more adventures!” 
 

She’d link her elbows with Moonlight and Titanium, “So come on! Let’s go have some tea - *gasps* - or an adventure! Or sports?? Or or more potions! And mischief! And orbs and magic! Titanium do you like magic?” 

if the would allow her, she would carry on about magic and superstitions and legends, but she was receptive to any change they might make to the conversation or if they should allow it to continue.

Titanium is dragged onward as her legs can barely move, her thoughts are nothing but internal screaming as Silky goes on about love and how she met her special somepony. Titanium focuses back on the conversation as Silky asks about magic. Titanium winces at the thought, "M-magic and I... Don't mix well... It usually explodes in my face..." she looks inwards and realises her throat has been very dry from all the panicked breathing. "B-but... I c-could go for a drink..." She stammers, exhausted from everything that has happened here. She will have to try and talk to Moonlight later, and see where things will go from here. It's already awkward enough, without having Silky listening in the whole time. For now, she'll enjoy a nice cup of tea and try to get her thoughts together.

Silky's speech fades into the background as Moonlight's stupid, blushing face looks at Titanium, her words repeating again and again in his mind.

"Y-yeah, I would like some tea."

He says absent-mindedly, forcing his hooves to move. On the way, he keeps glancing at Titanium, from time to time catching her looking back at him. Each time, the brief eye contact makes him immediately look down, but his face lights up with a smile.

But Titanium barely acknowledges the conversation.

Titanium gives it a few more agonising minutes before finally saying something, "Oh sweet celestia where is that tea shop?!" She blurts out in frustration.

He moves closer to her and whispers, not letting Silky hear what he says. "I really like you, Titanium."
