Half-Life 2 weapon favorites

So, pretty basic question, nothing oddly specific, assuming you've played Half-Life², what's your favorite weapon from the ol' 20th anniversary havin' game? Dunno about anyone who decides to see this but my favorite is either the OSIPR AR2 or the Resistance Crossbow.

But oddly specific is the Fibre of my being!

Unfortunately I have not partaken in this nor many such franchises was very much a fan of the Portal Games despite also not having actually played. Thus, I'm unfamiliar with these weapons, but I appreciate that the crossbow looks to be loaded with a glowing hot piece of rear! A projectile such has that would have many interesting side effects, though tetanus would not be among them.

It's a little sad that the crossbow actually wouldn't be too effective, it could work but the rebar is heated, it'd be a soft heated metal stick, shooting it would only bend the metal 👎
