I found it through google How you became a fan of My Little Pony My story is kinda weird... I was trying to get my driving license, practicing in the car with my teacher when suddenly he started screaming at me for small details wich aren't important at all... That became everyday norm so... I started feeling really sad (I was paying him 50€ for every hour of class ), but I needed the license so I gulped and got on with it. Since that experience really messed up every single day (making me feel im the worst driver in the intire world and that I would never be capable of moving a car), I decided to watch some show Well, I was looking for Rick and Morty in Netflix to cheer me up but, as always, if you're looking for it, netflix doesnt have it, so I asked a friend what to see and he told me to watch Bojack Horseman. I told him I just want a show where I can relax and feel everything is okay. When I told him so, I wasn't actually talking to him, but to myself... And... What show does have "horses" and makes you feel like everithing is okay? I started a modded skyrim run with a mod called The pony scrolls just because I found it kinda funny when I was scrolling through nexusmods. Between mod topics, I found a reddit post where somebody explained why an mlp mod (of a game I've never played) called equestria at war is sooo good. And this is exactly where everything changes, there was a millisecond when all the puzzle pieces fit together and my inner voice just said what about watching my little pony? So I secretly started to watch MLP FiM after my driving lessons and... at the beginning I felt absolutely embarrased because I judged myself for watching that show while being in my mid 20's, but I couldn't stop watching it and somehow the ponies were making me feel home. Soon mlp became a special shelter, I started to feel identified with some characters, specially Fluttershy because of the extreme shyness, and Twilight because of the over-rationalism and schedulization obsession, among other things. At that time I still cringed when the introduction music started playing. My inner judge was working full time even though I started slowly realising I love the show... Lets play a game: you can identify me, my inner judge and mlp personified in this masterpiece (its a must watch at least once a year imo) Spoiler (Disclaimer: Please let me know if im allowed or not to post links to videos like this, if im not, I'll remove it inmediately) You guess who won that battle since Im telling you my story. I have to confess that I've been entering this forum for a month, wondering if Im ready to be a member and have a good time together and make friends, but yesterday I saw that a fellow friend, confidante, ally, bosom buddy, gal pal, compadre , member of the forum posted the link to a song (which is also a masterpiece without a doubt) that vanished away all my doubts. I ended up watching ALL THE 9 SEASONS of FIM + the film + shorts + specials + etc in a month more or less Spoiler ENDING SPOILER CARE!!!!: I cried at the end since all my friends moving away from me (they are literally moving) is a thing that its actually happening to me, and was like the show was talking specifically to me, im getting old i guess... Now I see them once a moon... I can't get over the ending In case you are wondering: YES I FINALLY GOT MY DRIVING LICENSE! So, here I am after lots of doubts! Hi everypony, nice to meet you all! I've always been too shy, since I was little I've been bullying victim among other things, which have made me take shelter at video games, music, online stuff in general, which for sure have biased my tastes about almost everyting. I like things I can do alone, like woodcarving, electronics, programming, music, singing (which I really love to do, but I don't, because I'm blatantly shy). I also love phylosophy, engineering and science related topics. Well, at least now I can sing out loud inside my car while im in the highway without the panic of someone hearing me! Sorry for the absurdly long introduction, but I felt like it, I wasn't sure about my own nick, but since it's π hour in my country, I guess its accurate! Also i'm not a native english speaker, so if you see I write in a weird way, it's probably because of it.
