What are your thoughts on what happened to the alicorns in g5?

We all know that alicorns live forever. Accordingly, Twilight, Luna, Celestia, Cadence, and Flurry Hart must reside somewhere in the g5 universe. Do you have any thoughts and theories about what happened to them in the g5 universe?

In the post credit scene of the G5 movie, we see a sparkly track of hoofprints appear. I'm guessing that was Twilight (also Twilight was horographically shown in some episode, I havent gotten there yet).

Another (sadder) theory is that they simply died. Remember, magic was removed from Equestria because the three ponykinds weren't getting along. That probably included the alicorns' magic, meaning that they lost their immortality eventually died as well. I really loved all of the princesses in G4, but, unfortunately, this is the most likely possibility.
