Story Time with Longhaul: Lighting The Dark Path

I have my own little nook here in the library, and I would love to read a story for you if you would like.  

Many of you don't know what I sound like, so to fix that I have recorded a reading of a story I wrote a while back (seven years ago, to be precise), and I hope you do enjoy it:

Princess Luna has a dilemma.

Every night, the same pony asks the same thing: protection and guidance during the night. Curious as to why this pony asks her for assistance, she decides to pay this unsuspecting pony a visit to get to the bottom of this.

He began his nightly ritual, bowing his head and closing his eyes, he began to speak quietly in a faint whisper, "Luna, I don't know if you hear me every night but I ask that if it is within your power, you keep me safe from harm in my travels. And guide me with your light and your glorious stars to point my way. Your most humble servant thanks you."

Wow, what a noble soul Longhaul is. Luna must listen to his prayers if he was able to pull off some maneuver that caused him to avoid becoming a pony pancake! D:
