Could G5 Equestria be more conquerable and G4 Equestria?

Think about it. The races are disunited,  Ponykind's numbers are drastically lower, the world beyond is pretty much empty, ruined and devoid of all intelligent life, society and technology somewhat regressed and above all the most crucial thing: There is no magic.

Compared with Equestria in G4, Would G5 Equestria be a much easier land to conquer with a superior force? Especially against an technologically advanced army.

Think about it the races are divided, pony population is lower, magic was gone (and is still unstable), and much of the world is empty or ruined. Society has regressed and there's little to no tech or military structure.

Compared to the united, magic-rich G4 Equestria, wouldn’t G5 be far easier for a technologically advanced force to conquer?

G5 Equestria isn't even a united nation; there is no centralized government to order an organized defense. I have to take issue with your assessment of the tech level, though. Both Maretime Bay and Zephyr Heights display levels of technology that rises above G4's Equestria with the city of the Pegasuses reaching our early twentieth-century. However, even so we don't see much military tech.

I'm still unsure precisely where on the continent "New Equestria" is even located. If we ignore the rediscovery of Canterlot in the G5 comics, it seems to be somewhere in the southern lands that were mapped for the 2017 movie. I think that Maretime Bay is on the eastern coast but I am not 100% certain of that. I'm basing this on the assumption that the Isle of Scaly from G5 is the same as the Dragon Lands (Dragon's Lair) that we see on the G4 map.

Though this older map makes things more confusing, implying that Maretime Bay is on the southern coast somewhere between the Storm King's Realm and Mt. Aris:

So In your opinion, would there be a better chance for an invading army to be able to easily conquer G5 Equestria compared to G4 Equestria? I mean a lot of the aspects that made G4 Equestria indomitable to outside military invasions are absent or gone in G5.
