Any society that does not treasure its children above all else shall fall, that's why Equestria never will.

Once Flurry Heart arrived, all was said and done.

The ponies were all thereby leveled, up to use an entirely geek term for what actually happened.

Opaline Arcana stopped nothing, and from the perspective of magical timescales, her misadventures were ever so brief.

Allura also would have failed, and it is telling that she never really got the chance to start causing trouble in earnest.

It is yet more telling that Tell Your Tale, before being cancelled, was about to reveal the return of an Alicorn.

That much at least, Gen 5 should have been allowed to deliver upon.

Them not using Flurry in TYT was a massive missed opportunity for sure. 
 

I’m really glad somepony is using the concept, I know Flurry had a lot of hate back in the day but I can’t fathom why nopony was willing to give her a proper chance to shine.

Indeed, had the show gone on, or inspired spin-offs, how wonderful it would have been to get to see what miracles Princess Flurry Heart manifested in the Crystal Empire, as she most certainly did, we just didn't get to see any of that. Some ponies thought that the birth of Princess Flurry Heart signaled that the show was going in a more commercial direction, than a show which from its inception served to sell toys to kids. In point of fact, Princess Flurry Heart is the summation, the manifestation of everything Princess Celestia, Princess Luna and Princess Twilight Sparkle had accomplished. Princess Cadence and Shining Armor were positioned to make good on all of that and they trusted their instincts. Princess Flurry Heart is the best of Equestria, and a pure vessel of Fausticorn's intent...in one Alicorn, in one life. Any real civilization's greatest asset is its offspring, and Princess Flurry Heart is living proof that Equestria fully understood and embraced that.
