Night Sky 1,463 Wednesday at 09:02 PM Share Wednesday at 09:02 PM I daresay, MINISO is a store that at least some of you probably know quite well already. They just arrived in my home town only a few months ago. On my first visit, imagine my surprise when I discovered that they are selling a new line of GEN 4 Plushies. Generally speaking, plushies are not my thing, so on that occasion I took a pass, and almost instantly regretted it. When I got back, they were gone. I imagine these fly off of the shelves pretty quickly. Finally, today they had a few in stock. It was a toss up between Rarity and Twilight Sparkle. Rarity is a close second, and my fav non-Twi Mane 6 pony, but Twilight Sparkle will always be my first pony overall. These are very well made, and they are even properly licensed by Hasbro. It's nice to know that my Twilight Sparkle is not a counterfeit, such things have existed and probably continue to exist. I actually have one other [not pictured] MLP Plushie, a Rainbow Dash that I found at an antique mall. She certainly dates from the days of FIM. Anymore, us later ponies cannot just go shopping and avail ourselves of GEN 4 merch. We missed the bus, and what a bus it was. I've looked at pictures documenting the phenomenon, and part of me will always be trying to kick myself for having missed it. But, acquisitions like the one pictured above can help. Having an Alicorn Twilight Sparkle Plushie to cuddle with can help. If MINISO is in your area, maybe head over there and have a look. This cost $19.99 before tax. Again, she's well put together and was in perfect shape. I saw Rarity and Applejack. I didn't really pay enough attention, I know the rest of the Mane 6 are present in this line up. Everyone was present and accounted for the first time I saw these. But I think today they may have been out of Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy, I could be wrong though. Either way, I am massively de-stressed at this time, because I now have Twilight Sparkle with me in this form. 4 FRIENDSHIP FINDS A WAY
Dawnshine Wonder 4,554 Thursday at 05:40 PM Share Thursday at 05:40 PM Would it be okay if I bought a plush to cuddle in bed? Also I see a Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie acrylic key chains! this is so cute. Properly licensed items by Hasbro are worth supporting, over the months I've been purchasing licensed MLP posters, I believe there is a possibility one is simply a fan made one as the website I got it from doesn't say it is licensed, but the others, I am sure of it they were licensed, from Pyramid International, you may have heard from them. Only issue is I need to make sure all my frames fit, but that's an easily correctable problem, a bit of research and use of measuring tape, and it's sorted, you can probably find a few posters on Amazon.

My brother and I were out looking for the keychains today. Yesterday, I posted these same pictures on Canterlot Avenue, and somepony showed me images of the Keychains. They weren't able to get their hooves on any, but today I gave it a go. There are 3 MINISOs here in my town. All three were totally out of the keychains. Apparently we just missed the last three at one of the stores. The supply of the plushies has been steady, but apparently the keychains just fly off of the shelves quickly. Apparently MINISO had an entire IP with MLP but the plushies, and sometimes the keychains are all that's left. I will try again on a weekly basis till I stop seeing the plushies. Those come and go too. There's no telling what might be on the next truck the store receives. 1 FRIENDSHIP FINDS A WAY
Dawnshine Wonder 4,554 Friday at 02:41 PM Share Friday at 02:41 PM I also recommend getting merchandise from the Bishoujo line from Kotobukiya, right now they're doing preorders of Queen Chrysalis statues, which comes with both a human and Changeling form of her. The problem with this lineup is they discontinue too quickly, they sell this series of merchant for a little while then quietly close production of them. They're made from high quality PVC so assuming you manage to get say a used Fluttershy statue in good condition from Ebay, it should last a while. I managed to put in my preorder for the Queen Chrysalis statue, I currently own a Princess Luna and Princess Celestia statue, I intend to pick up a Princess Cadance statue some time in the near future after Christmas. The Regal Four, as I like to call them.
Night Sky 1,463 Friday at 03:21 PM Author Share Friday at 03:21 PM (edited) I was impressed by the other characters in this series. Looks like they're doing right by Queen Chrysalis too. I wish they'd churn these out to order for everypony's random favorite characters. That would send the price sky high, and might not be a viable business model for them. Then again, just how much would I pay for a Nurse Red Heart one of these. Too much. Maybe it's for the best. Dawnshine Wonder 4,554 Friday at 05:03 PM Share Friday at 05:03 PM I agree, I would've liked to see a special mention of characters like DJ-Pon3, Zecora, Derpy Hooves and Maud Pie. This would motivate many other people like us to purchase the entire lot from the Bishoujo series. Perhaps if the economy picks up we would see greater sales potential for MLP merchandise. But as of now, it's probably not a good time for them to try it, with the dolls being as expensive as they are, it is difficult for them to sell this stuff to the general population I'd imagine. But I can confirm they're worth every penny, because of the attention to detail that has been put into making these, I love these.
